OK so the denali is feeling great. I just got the truck a couple of months ago, when I test drove it I knew the suspension was done. the first thing I had to do was replace the hydro-boost unit since it was leaking. Well I guess the guy I bought it from didn't really tell me how long it had...
Thanks Nathan I appreciate all of your help. I have new torsion keys coming next week, planned on leveling the truck anyways so I can stuff some 285/70 17 in there. Once I get that done and realigned I have to get through Christmas and then I will look into replacing the sway bars.
Ok so what are some good sway bars for the money. the Yukon is a secondary vehicle and I don't want to break the bank. I also don't want the truck to be to stiff also.
Do sway bars wear out? As far as the torsion bars, it is normal for one side to be maxed out and the other side almost maxed out without the truck being level. I will have to add the ends to the tails I have on the bags and put a little air in them.
Hows it going everyone, I am having some horrible ride issues.
I have a 2003 Yukon denali with 115,000 miles. It has a fair amount of body roll and at highway speeds it has a rotational, corner to corner sway. I hope I am explaining it correctly.
The truck rode like this when I bought it with...
I installed everything and the truck was horrible going down the road, felt like I was driving a early 70's oldsmobile. I ended up finding out from bilstein that those rear coils are not the right ones so I ended up ordering a set of moog z71 coils. I installed them and the truck is a lot...

I just got all the 5100's and the bilstein 199021's today and will be installing them tonight or tomorrow and will report back on how it rides
I spoke with a tech at airlift and was told that there systems are vehicle specific, which I knew. He said that I need to get the bilstein 199021 coils in and then measure the height and diameter with the truck sitting in a settled position. Then he would be able to match something up.
So if...
I am thinking of getting this setup, my only question is how it does for towing. I have a trailer and will be getting a boat this winter for next season. I looked at putting an air lift kit in but I am not sure which kit will work with this conversion. I am going to contact air lift today and...
Hi everyone, I just picked up a 2003 Yukon Denali as a secondary vehicle to tow my trailer and possibly a boat next season. This thing has tons of power with the 6.0l in it. For being 12yrs old it is in really great shape. It has a few issues I need to fix, and have been searching around the...
