Torque specks for break bracket to knuckle?
Thanks, When I took my rotors in to get turned. Since I was there I ask the owner of a local tire shop and he looked it up in his computer. His specs were, If using new bolts - then 148 ft lb rear and 129 ft lb front. If reusing the same bolts - Then 74 ft lb with lock tight front and rear. Any...- Kellyh

Torque specks for break bracket to knuckle?
Hi All, The chilton book says the torque speck for the rear brake bracket to hub is 148ft lbs. And break bracket to front knuckle is 129ft lbs. 2003 Chevy tahoe 1500 4x4. That seems like too much. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks Kelly- Kellyh

Can you help identify an interior part?
Thanks, Here are a few pictures. A couple are of how I fixed it. The plastic that holds the metal tabs broke off. I was able to screw them back on. The screws seem to hold better then I thought. You can see the possible part numbers on it but none seem to come up anywhere. I guess I could call... -
