yeah, it was raining all weekend....and the spindles do have what I would say is an excess of surface rust....the OE spindles have zero rust on them after 65k+ miles and these have 2k miles.
2/3 drop, does the front axle angle look correct? pic included
I have installed the McGaughy 2/3 drop and I thought the axle front angle was supposed to be maintained. From the photo, it shows the axle being at an angle and not horizontal as it was from the factory.
2002 Tahoe LT Autoride...
I took the truck to a shop and let them drive it. The tech said what I was experiencing was normal due to the low profile tires....275/45R20....I still dont belive that, but I havent found anything loose or otherwise......gonna look into Max and rigo_jones' suggestions, thanks guys
I just installed the McGaughy's 2/3 drop and the pass side is .5 in higher front and rear than the driver side, any insights? I have the auto ride suspension, should I just drop the auto ride "rod" .5 in lower to make up the difference?
I also have this problem along with movement in both my brake and gas pedal. My truck has been lowered using the McGaughy's 2/3 drop and I have 45 series tires...I have also cut the bump stops. Should I be looking at the control arm bushings and ball joints?

So I pull my McGaughy 2" front spindles out of the box this AM to install them and this is what he ID of the hub area looks like. I need to have a replacement one sent to me right? Anyone else experience something like this?
Any other tips for removing both the lower and upper ball joints? Im stuck on this step and cannot for the life of me remove either ball joint. Im going to pick up the ball joint tool tomorrow and hopefully that will help.
Nice, out of the two that I have shown, I like the horizontal bars the best. But have been entertaining the idea of getting a new primed, ready to paint, grille.

JK, awesome grille....did you paint a chrome grille, buy a primed grille or use a z71 grille? Did the SS bumper cover take a lot of modification to work? What are you using for the actual bumper beneath the cover/fascia?
