Chicago / Illinois emission test w / Range device

I think I am going to send mine out to LT1 when I get back to town. As long as that process allows all monitors to set thats probably the best bet. I have an old Actron that I will plug in and see what I get too. Is sending out the ECU as simple as it sounds ? Does anything get screwed up when...

Chicago / Illinois emission test w / Range device

I read a few long posts regarding the Range module and emission tests but it seemed most were in PA or NY. Does anyone in Illinois or Chicago have any info on whether pulling the Range prior to test will cause a fail ?

    Power folding Mirror Code?

Just replaced mine with a cheap set from Amazon so I doubt they will have the dimming feature but they are not hard to swap. The cap comes off as stated above to swap onto a bew mirror. I am goingnto take my originapls apart and see how hard it is to swap the Gruven gears/ motor out.

Just gonna fix the things I find and keep fluids changed frequently and hope for the best. It replaced an 03 Explorer that was falling apart. I dont mind fixing things as long as the engine stays healthy.

Anyone used Bushwacker OEM flares ?

To do it right would mean patch panels but around Chicago that means a shit ton of money. If I was confident this Ls would go 300k I would do it. My concern on the Bushwackers is the rea flares. Seems like there are 3 pieces for each rear wheel well, door, quarter and bumper cover. Looking at...

2 owner and looks to be well maintaned. It has 191k on it. Has a Range afm plug in. Interior is near perfect cloth. Runs really good and rides even better. Except for 2 outside door handles, power fold mirror , drivers lower hinge and door latch , rearhatch glass switch already all seems good !

Anyone used Bushwacker OEM flares ?

Just picked up an 11 Tahoe. Very nicely kept but its getting some rust popping on both rear wheel well lips. Was thinking of doing the fender flare rust repair but not sure what the best choice is. Ideally not as tall as the Z71 style . Looking for some opinions ! First post and I am an old fart...
