What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally got around to painting the speaker grilles. Decided krypton semi gloss black was good enough for $4, couldn’t get the right SEM paint locally (and it’s like $20). Had to disassemble the passenger side lock assembly, it wasn’t turning on the dome light anymore, so I said “might as well...

    Where's It Going (coolant)???

Probably either water pump is leaking and burning off and you just can’t tell. Mine I missed leaking for a while at those T connections on the firewall. Def check that too. Otherwise, as prev people said, maybe trouble internally

    2005 Tahoe Bleeding brakes question

AFAIK, just do NOT let the reservoir go dry and you should be fine. I haven’t had a problem either time, but I make sure and keep the reservoir from emptying and getting air in the system.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes. But I decided I didn’t want to mess with it. Just more work, most of my time was spent making damn sure I wasn’t gonna damage pulley by doing it wrong, or worse, damaging the new pump shaft when installing it again. Pitman, idler and tie rods I did pretty good, seemed to track straight...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

As for the pulley removal, I used none of the little adapters, I just used the “center screw” along with the two half moon clamps and the sheath with the “puller body”. Not a lot of working room, with any of the little adapters, I no longer had room to put a ratchet on it. And I needed...

    2001 Suburban stock speaker upgrade

Question about your Sony. Does it pick whatever radio station it wants for you? I have a Sony that looks the same, I love it, CarPlay etc. but the radio part (admittedly don’t use it often) is crap. It will change radio station every time I get in the car. It also tried to put words on the...

Looks like idler and pitman for me

What do you think? I think I need to do these before I get new tires at least. What is everyone’s opinion on doing tie rods when I do these? Thinking I’ll order inners and outers from MOOG. FFor the pitman, idler and idler bracket I ordered oem AC delco.
