Air Suspension Leak Down after Sitting 2 Weeks

i'm kind of the ingenuitive type, I would probably take a shock off, rig up a air line and stick it in a tub of water, like tire shops do to check for leaks repeat with each shock until the leak is found. wouldn't take much maybe 10psi, a bike tire pump would work. air lines are usually just a...

    Remote Start Troubleshooting

I don't know but sub'd to find out I read there could be a ground issue that could cause a ECM abort I think a little more probing with the tech2 might point you in the right direction compare data from before start attempt to after start attempt, you will want to attach a external 12v power...

Location of SRS Airbag module in '07 Yukon XL

you might get the console out by just removing the inner bolts, but I personally wouldn't want to tear up stuff trying to force it out, I plan on using mine for a number of years yet and prefer to not tear it up if possible, a few more minutes work makes things a lot easier in some cases. there...

Do seat blower fans really need to be programmed?

here is a note from phil (the harness doctor) regarding what I was mentioning above, regarding upgrading to heated/cooled from heated only. does not mention anything about programming, just bypassing "seat memory" in some cases.

Do seat blower fans really need to be programmed?

well there are 4 choice's you replace the blower and it works and you go happily down the yellow brick road you replace it and pay a little more for programming (which I think is unlikely) you have the dealer replace it and program it and get really screwed (monetarily) or leave it broke I...

Air Suspension Leak Down after Sitting 2 Weeks

i see, different design, same concept... the most likely place to "find" a leak is the bladders, or pump intake or relief valve (circled in 2nd pictured), the manifold is not likely to be bad but who knows with GM cheaping out anymore. just spray everything with soap & water mix and watch for...

Do seat blower fans really need to be programmed?

I am going "presume" to say that IF you already have heated or heated & cooled seats, that replacing the blower mechanism should not require any programming I have heated seats in the 18, and I "could" swap to heated & cooled, all it would take is the "seat with the option". a change in the...

    Not starting.

you could program it yourself with techline connect/sps but you need a windows 10 pc/laptop and a mdi2, a mdi2 clone runs around $200 or so, maybe a little more. The programming fee is $45 for 2 years of programming. only for 1 vin.

Air Suspension Leak Down after Sitting 2 Weeks

in 99.999999% of situations it's either a bladder leaking, or the relief valve on the pump. the lines could be from the 1970's and won't leak....... the design has been the same since then soap and water will tell you which is the case

    Speaker Experience

I would not recommend changing just the speakers, as Joseph noted the impedance is then the issue and it's most likely not going to be any kind of improvement. The Bose system depending on which level you have is pretty hard to beat, I would go all in or just add a sub and disable ANC the...

just use a canned tune or get a tune, then no worries about any "plugged in" things failing. when I bought the denali I had already bought a handheld tuner and as I drove it off the lot I parked down the street and turned off all the nannies and drove it 7 hours home, hauling ballz across the...
