    Recommendations for in-tank pump replacement

They also carry a Delphi which are OE manufacturers for GM and made a lot of original parts on our trucks.

    Recommendations for in-tank pump replacement

Doesn’t the GM Genuine MU1657 work for you? It says it’s for gas which I assume means non flex. It’s $238. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chevrolet,2007,suburban+1500,5.3l+v8,1433403,fuel+&+air,fuel+pump+&+housing+assembly,10147

    Recommendations for in-tank pump replacement

Ha! I stand corrected. They have a no-name brand pump only ( US Motor Works) for $78 or the entire no-name brand module for $68. I wouldn’t trust either.

    Recommendations for in-tank pump replacement

AFAIK only the entire assembly is available now. I don’t see the reason to not just replace it all, it’s not expensive and it’s the labor that costs so I don’t think it was popular enough to just do the pump to keep offering it.

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

Nice. I had my attic, crawlspace and ducts insulated and last winter was the first afterwards. It was a huge difference, not just in the heat bill but in the comfort too. You’re gonna love it.

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

New windows make the biggest difference in a house, especially if you’re going from single pane.

What would you do to stand out?

My Silverado as reference…and you thought I was kidding. ;)

    This may make you cringe.......

There’s a 67 Deville around here that's turned into a pickup. Lifted and all.

What would you do to stand out?

If it was me, I’d probably do something like this. Everyone will look at you as you hit the remote start as you’re walking across the parking lot and the air bag system lifts it into drive height. That’s what I do when I want attention- drive my Silverado to the grocery store. :p Might be a...

    Transmission Removal

Yeah I did my 4l60 in my 02 3 times after age 55. I don’t want to ever do it again. It’s super hard without a lift, especially if there’s a transfer case involved.

    Replica OEM wheels

Oh yeah I remember. And those were OEM and had problems, iirc?

Not much there for our trucks unfortunately.

    Replica OEM wheels

You guys that keep telling him to buy factory take-offs: read post #13. He said he’s coming up empty trying that. I know when I was looking at wheels there wasn’t anything available in the size, finish and style I wanted. With reps, you have a much bigger choice and you can get them in options...

    Replica OEM wheels

I’ve been running 22’s that I originally bought for winter wheels instead of the 26’s I had on ( I bent one in the dark rain wintery potholed road) and decided I liked these so they stayed. Our roads are terrible and for a daily I would feel iffy with 26’s, 24’s maybe but 22’s I don’t feel any...

Stupid Question: How to effectively clean interior windows?

Wait until they’re un-fogged. You’ll see those marks no matter what when there’s fog on the glass. Glass is porous and it absorbs shit that is only seen under certain conditions, one of which is when fog is on the glass. Another way to see this nearly invisible shit is if you do what some people...

    Replica OEM wheels

Also, I bought mine through @NathanJax , a moderator here on the forum. Not sure if he still sells them or not but he got me a good deal.

    Replica OEM wheels

I’ve been running reps for years, love them. But like any other aftermarket part, some are good and some aren’t. I go by the brand; there’s a few well known brands ie OE Wheels LLC, Factory Reproductions ( I went with them because they had a longer finish warranty - 2 years and a good...

Will in Nashville's 2005 Yukon Denali

Nice work my man. I’m partial to NBS Denalis not sure if you’ve seen mine but my build thread has a link at the bottom of this post. I’ve been thinking I might end up repainting the roof on The Beast some day since the clear up there is starting to fade-in a few spots. It’s up high so I figure...

Stupid Question: How to effectively clean interior windows?

I find if I kneel facing backwards, reach back between my legs and use an old not new microfiber cloth I can get it really really clean, at least from what I can see at that point which is all that really matters because after that ordeal, I tend to look through the glass, not so much AT the...

    01 Yukon Denali Build Thread

For audio, on my 02 Denali I’m running what I call a hybrid system- the Lux amp is great for running all the speakers less the sub. So i have a Pioneer head unit connected to the Lux amp with a PAC harness and steering wheel control interface running some inexpensive JBL 61/4’s in the doors and...

Rocket Man's 02 Denali Build Thread AKA "THE BEAST"

I’ve spent all summer building stuff around the house. The trucks have been performing flawlessly, not a single breakdown this year. I just changed the oil in this one, 178,700 miles. It took me well over a year to drive 3000 miles. Since I’m retired I don’t drive that much. This truck will last...

    Budgeting for a paint job

That’s what my friend is doing, he’s slowly gone away from insurance work and has bought property outside of the city with his home and a huge shop that’s going to be his business and he will only be doing word of mouth work by appointment but 95% of the body shops like the one he built from...

    Budgeting for a paint job

My 02 has all of its factory paint still in near perfect condition after 21 years. I somehow doubt todays vehicles will even last that long mechanically/ electronically. I did install a new hood, and I’ve replaced the rear bumper cover and installed Esky parts here and there so there’s a few...
