Most assuredly! I had Black Bear turn off AFM, and set TCC lockup only in 5th and 6th gears. Good point. If the transmission goes south and the warranty doesn't stand by it, I will find the money to have it overhauled. And bomb-proofed. Thanks!- skpyle

Makes sense. I usually left it in 3rd when pulling the trailer. The GMPP HT3400 is stronger than the original 2.8L, but it is still a V-6, and the transmission is the original V-6 spec trans. Excellent, thank you! Correct, I am running a 7-4 pin adapter. Lights on the trailer only. Transmission feels great! Granted, it is not end of the world different, but it feels better. That loom work is beautiful! Is the woven loom the 'split PET loom' you referred to? The engine bay of my Escalade is lousy with brittle and degraded cable looms. I like your idea! Please elaborate on the materials you are using. Thanks!- skpyle

No, the automated bleed process does not specify a pressure bleeder. In fact, it doesn't tell you to check the master cylinder until AFTER you are done with all four calipers. Which is bad, because the test at each caliper uses up around half the volume of fluid in the master cylinder reservoir...- skpyle

For the first flush, I would say no. Flush it until you have clean brake fluid at all four calipers. Drive it for awhile. Plan on another flush, then do the ABS bleed. You will need PLENTY of brake fluid. If your brake fluid is hateful dark, I would suggest at least 4, if not 6 quarts of your...- skpyle

Soooo...back in post #34, I mentioned that there were O-rings I didn't use in the shift solenoid filter screen kit. Because I didn't know what they were for. Now I know. I was watching a youtube video from Precision Transmission on teardown of a 6L90E. Those O-rings are for the black plastic...- skpyle

I took the advice of this forum and have been using Lubegard 23232 Synthetic PS fluid. A little pricey at $15/qt at my local O'Reily's, but it comes well recommended.- skpyle
