Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

it works in reverse :rotflmao: actually reverse is hard for a ring gear just be the nature of how the teeth engage doesnt really matter the size

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

i wish someone else, anyone else, would do this swap so i can quit having to be the sole proprietor of this mod and the only available person to answer these questions also, since we are here. friend pulled transmission out at his shop. they went to roll it back out of the shop bay it was in...

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

at stock height or lowered (if i was doing it all over) i would prob still grab oem axles and swap the outer cv joint needed (33spline pre-10 2500) onto the 8bolt inner joint/shaft(2010+ 2500) i think the actual shafts are longer, youd still need a little cv axle spacer. i used cognito for them...

    Anyone running Belltech coilovers?

not anymore, i went from lowered 4-6ish to lifted about 7". the pictures on his page with the red springs are of my actual install the mounts top and bottom are set up for spherical bearings: if you see where the edge of the bearing would meet the mount with a 1/2" hole for a 1/2" bolt...

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

great to hear, i have needed some obscure parts from their lift kits on several occasions and theyve always came thru. when i needed upper control arms i knew exactly where i was getting them, certainly couldve found some cheaper but figured i would support a company that still delivers customer...

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

have you called cognito? theyve actually been really helpful over the phone from my experience. trying to search/buy individual parts online was a pita though as every vendor just types in year/make/model and says nope thats not available! and im like no shit i can google as well

    Anyone running Belltech coilovers?

i got ya, glad it was fixable. unfortunately for as many years as these can work 07-18 atleast there are few direct swap in solutions for coilovers, to drop anyway lift there are a few more. wish more companies would jump in. i had (and still have) the atomic upper and lower coilover mounts -...

    Anyone running Belltech coilovers?

i used the 6" lift belltech coilovers on mine but i imagine they are assembled the same. had no problems with the mounting holes either, only way i could see them off is if the top plate needed to be completely rotated or something for adjusting they are kind of a pain in the ass, on the lifted...

Whipple vs LSA pros and cons

the "gen 5" i believe refers to whipple's gen 5 blower....its has nothing to do with fitting GM gen 5 engines. same engines for 14-current (15+ suvs) trucks get L83/L86 engine designations, but they are similar to LT1/LT4 engines.... i think there are still adapters needed to run oem blower...

Whipple vs LSA pros and cons

you now have an LTX engine, the intake ports are different than the gen4 "LS3" square port heads. whipple does make a tub for the 2.9L to go onto with the correct ports so you can still use it, prob good for nearly 1khp, intercooler prob better at that hp than the oem blower LSA blower wont...

    2004 6.0 NV4500 Tahoe

Good thing, I had cylinder envy. Shorty on my yukon, thing fookin stops awesome. But if it could stop awesomer I may had to upgrade. Does it work like an accumulator? To store charge in the event of a failure or something? Not sure why they would have diff sizes tho
