Need Information to repair rear Ac which was disabled by previous owner

I removed today the debris of the old line, to give the new line space at the doorboard, assembled everthing and let the car run. Everything seems to work and the cooling is much better than before.

Need Information to repair rear Ac which was disabled by previous owner

Thank you, but it didn't help me, because it was a commercial link, and I don't need a so much information, that it is necessary to pay for. I fixed my rear Ac line today with a repair kit. I filled the whole system and made a leakage test, which is good. Tomorrow I will assemble the whole...

Need Information to repair rear Ac which was disabled by previous owner

Hello, i want to repair my rear air condition, which was disabled by the guy I bought the car from. They had, as far as i know, a leakage in the high pressure line to the rear expension valve, cut it and weld it, to close the line. Now I am looking for an overview of the rear system, or a...

2006 Tahoe/AC charged but Compressor not turning

I dont now what is the situation with a bad pressure switch. ;) But in a working system, the pressure switch is switched to continuity, when there is enough pressure.

2006 Tahoe/AC charged but Compressor not turning

There is not valve. There is a pressure switch which check if the correct pressure in the system is available and a magnetic clutch, which will be engaged from the control. Check if it makes a sound on the compressor, when someone in the car engages the ac. If not. Check, if the pressure...

Off, on... I don't wanna be pissed at all... :favorites37: My son once, when he was as s baby was lying on the changing table, when I was just about to put his diaper on, when he peed in a high arc direct on my shirt. Presumably he was already aiming for a career as a washer fluid chemist...

    Safely long-haul towing with a 2006 Z71 Tahoe

From my humble view, It is not the towing, that is the problem, for the automatic teansmission, but the shifting. Each time when there is a shift, greater forces act on the clutches than usual. Therefore, drive as evenly as possible on the highway, and prevent strong acceleration, then the...

    Engine hours

I didn't find anything about it. Maybe someone knows what "engine hours" show? My car shows about 20 engine hours and 4.000 liters of fuel consumed. I looked in the manual and it only says that: "The engine hours show the engine hours", but not since when. Does it show from production, last...

    2005 Accumulator Schrader Valve question

Ok... interesting... Propably at OEM but at normal Rockauto stuff? They build in a valve, nobody needs? Except when you change the pressure switch, which should, from the view of such manufacturer, immediately lead into a Akkumulator swap? I will give them a call and tell them, where they can...

    2005 Accumulator Schrader Valve question

I have never seen an ac accumulator with a Shrader valve beyond the switch. Shrader valves are normally the valves for filling the system. I wonder why a car manufacturer should ad a Shrader valve beyond the pressure switch, when you normaly more often evacuate the system in a regulary air...

    2005 Accumulator Schrader Valve question

Normally there is no valve behind the pressure switch in the accumulators. The system is under pressure, if you unscrew the pressure switch, you lose the refrigerant. So you have to evacuate the system, replace the pressure switch and then refill it. I usually seal the thread of the pressure...
