    07/08 vs 09-14 Corsa catback

Unfortunately it isn’t quite that easy. The muffler is SO long that the fore and aft pipes would have to be reworked entirely. Check out the pics

    The KidWagon

FINALLY lowered the truck. Huge shoutout to K.M. Ash and Travis over at SportTruckPros for all the information and helping me build a piece by piece kit. Belltech 2511 2” drop spindles in the front Trekline 5” rear spring with their shock and trailing arm relocation kits. Still waiting on my...

First thing was first, get rid of those beat up LTZ wheels! I searched, and searched, and searched for some 24x10 Vossens, and again, a set fell in my lap. This time I had to drive 40 miles, but it was well worth it. Picked these up September 2 for $1900! The wheels are in PERFECT condition...

    The KidWagon

Guess I better start a build thread now that I’ve started modifying my “grown up car” 2012 LTZ with every option I know of, and black on black! I couldn’t believe how hard it was to find a black on black LTZ, and this one fell into my lap 8 miles from me at a dealership. Many will say I...

    07/08 vs 09-14 Corsa catback

Fun fact! The 07/08 Corsa catback not only uses a different cat-to-muffler pipe (2-bolt flange vs ball/socket flange), but it ALSO uses a different length of muffler! So, if you buy a Corsa catback second hand, only to find out after an 8-hour round trip that it doesn't fit, then reach out to...

    OE rear spring rates?

Just did some research on that company. Turns out they're a sister company to Whiteline, owned by the same parent company! Found some reviews on other forums (for other applications) saying the bushings are subpar, but no complaints about the hard-parts. Previously I was looking to the Hotchkis...

    OE rear spring rates?

They make springs for all sorts of applications; NASCAR, F1, etc. Super high end stuff, but priced very reasonably. They also block their springs 5x before they leave the factory, ensuring all the "sag" is already removed, and eliminating any springs that don't pass their +/-3% QC standards...

    OE rear spring rates?

5 inch rear drop. Looking at Hyperco springs. Our stock spring is 16" long with an OD of 5.7". A Hyperco spring is available in an 11" or 12" free length with an OD of 5.5", in everything from 175 lbf-in to 1300. I'm thinking that if the OE spring is around 260 lbf-in, I should probably go to...

    Norcal SS adjustable rear endlinks.

Bro you HAD ME SOLD until you used self tappers to hold the sway bar bushing collar. Now if you ever need to remove that collar to replace the bushing, the holes are pretty well ******. What's stopping you from being able to use the OE bolt holes? I couldn't see real well in the video how far...

    OE rear spring rates?

I've been searching the Googles for half an hour or more and cannot find ANYTHING detailing the OE rear spring rate. Everything I can find is from aftermarket manufacturers touting "30% stiffer!" with no actual measurement. I'm putting together my own drop kit, and want to be sure I order enough...

    Rear coilovers using Viking?

Anyone tried it yet, or am I about to guinea pig this? AFP offers the front coilover, which I'll be installing regardless. I wanted to keep all 4 corners similar, so I figured I'd use Viking's in the rear, too. Upon browsing, it looks like you can get the shocks with a smooth body, or threaded...

4 Piston Big Brake Upgrade from 2019-20

There is some DAMN good information in here, even for an NNBS guy! Thanks everyone! Here's something to throw a wrench in the mix... The 2021 Tahoe lists its 4p calipers as 84793057 & 58, whereas the 2019 6.2 Silverado 1500 lists theirs as 13545382 & 83. Anybody know the difference?

    2012 Tahoe/Fuel filler-neck flap

I was having troubles beforehand. I did the small stuff first, and when I still had issues, I replaced the canister. I figured out over the weekend that if I turn the pump handle sideways, it will fill up without clicking off :mad3:

Purge Valve Solenoid Vapor Canister Vapor Canister solenoid The metal spring loaded flap is exactly what I was referring to. 2012 Tahoe/Fuel filler-neck flap

    2012 Tahoe/Fuel filler-neck flap

Seems silly, but I cannot for the life of me find any information. Does the filler-neck opening have a flapper in it? If it’s supposed to, mine does not, which would explain why I can’t use the locking function on a gas pump after replacing everything else.

My experience with AFM, poor idle and resolution

Interesting! I bought my 2012 Tahoe about 6 weeks ago; first thing I did was plugs/wires and O2 sensors, as they were all OEM. I’ve been chasing a slight shudder/miss at idle, and hadn’t attributed it to being iridium plugs…back to the drawing board
