Is this frame too late to save ?

That sounds like a good plan. I've had good luck over the last 13 years of going down south, southwest, or WAY out west to buy Yukon Denali's (5 total). They do require a little more research up front to try and get the best feel possible for what you are looking for, but I've had good luck...

Is this frame too late to save ?

Geez....that looks rough. I see nothing but a long list of repairs, replacements, cuss words, and disappointment with it. I'd just drive it like it is and save up some money. Then, schedule a vacation to a southern or western location to find a clean replacement that you can start with a clean...

    REAR AC Lines

Or, just buy the block off plugs for the rear line and run off the front system. Use the rear blower as a circulation fan. If/when that happens on mine, those lines will be abandoned. There is more than enough cooling capacity from the front system to keep the cabin cool.

Is there a list that shows wheel/year options? Ex: What other years are options for 2016? 22" >>20"

Try hubcaphaven.com They list all wheels for each vehicle an year. Awesome research option

    What have i done

My first instinct would have been to run away from a 2004 with 22" wheels on it. That person most likely spent ALL their money to look "cool" and then had to forgo the basic maintenance routine. Hence the outcome?

    Replacing front struts etc

Other than to close the page it opened? Not really. My guess is they are just another rebranded crappy strut. Good enough for a trade in vehicle, but nothing I'd put on for longevity.

2000 Tahoe Z71 (OBS) Newish 4l60e will not go into gear after sitting for 6 months or longer.

I'd say corrosion of the affected wire harness you mentioned. Or rats munching on wiring. Sounds like quite a project. By chance, did you check the fluid level? I'd start there. If it's low, looks for leaks. If no residue, then check the transfer case and see if it's way overfilled. A bad...

    Best and MostReliable Engine

By your response, I'm assuming you mean a new one? If that's the case, then I don't really have anything constructive to say. Gas engines seem to have unexpected quality control errors. Diesel has all the emissions crap, but seems to be quite a runner from what people have said here...

2023 Tahoe Induction/Carbon buildup service at 15k miles?

No. It's only a process that fogs the upper intake area to loosen the stuck carbon deposits. They then break off and are burned. It's not enough liquid to dilute into the oil.

2023 Tahoe Induction/Carbon buildup service at 15k miles?

I just did the seafoam cleaning on my 2017 6.2L. It's super easy with a long straw that you snake in by the throttle body. Start the truck and have someone keep the rpm at 2k while you hold down the spare nozzle until the can is empty. Let truck heat soak for 10 minutes with engine off...

Oil/filter change on hardly used 2017 Tahoe LT

Every 5k max. Or as @blondie70 stated. Just because it's low use doesn't negate proper maintenance. Sometimes it actually requires MORE due to lack of use. Vehicles like to be driven.

    Best flex brake lines?

I'd just stick with OEM ones and be done with it. They lasted 270k, so obviously they are good quality. They should handle any braking pressure needed to stop - vacuum or hydro-boost.

    Weird dipstick

How long did you let it sit before checking? It can take several minutes to a half hour for the oil level to come to rest. As for the oil pressure light, maybe you have a sensor that is getting flaky and it didn't like the heat soak it was getting

How to know if oil has been changed at dealership

Based on your pictures I'd march right back in with the information stated above. Oil filter is leaking, oil is black as coal after 20 miles, technician obviously isn't conscientious about their work. Nothing other than a sticker says oil was changed. Make them do it again, with care and...

    Towing woes

I would agree with the trailer tongue height as @gooffeyguy stated. I have the Z95 suspension on my Denali of rhe same Era as yours and it tows fantastically. The air suspension works great - firm, but stable. Shaking possibilities: 1. Bad balanced tires that act up with different front...

    Transmission selector bushing

It was a ***** to figure out.......in the Autozone parking lot.....in the dark.....with pouring rain in New Mexico of all places. Hilarious.... It just takes some squishing. You can also use a small screw driver to massage the edge into the recess

Low Oil Pressure AND smoking dipstick (Related?)

I've seen the smoking dipstick before on hot natural gas generators after a shutdown. Based on what you said were the conditions, you probably saw oil film getting roasted by the hot exhaust manifold as the truck baked after running hard in warm temps. I've seen the 20 psi oil pressure as...

    Transmission selector bushing

You can buy the bushings from Autozone. I had to do this while overlanding 2 years back. I found that the replacement bushing material isn't as pliable as the OEM one and I had to use needle nose pliers to force the bushing material into the recess of the shift selector. Once I did that, no...

    22" Recommended Tire Pressure

I keep mine about 36 - 38 psi. That ensures they ride like shit after the tires have some miles on them, and ruin expensive Z95 struts in a timely fashion. If you have nice, smooth, roads then enjoy your wheels. I can't wait to ditch the 22 inch for 20 or 18. They look nice, corner well, but...

    VLOM removed from valley cover

I don't see how it's possible to get it to the intake. 2007-09 6.2L just had a flat valley cover the blocked off the ports with o-rings. When they went bad, oil pressure would drop when hot......it never ended up in the intake. The only way to the intake would be through the PCV system. Even...

Welp…. Ya Fix One Thing…..Dreaded Lifter Tick

Or, buy 4 credits, and the MVI3 from HP tuners and toggle off the DOD. It's about $550. I just did this for both of my Yukons. More for the 2017 DoD, but also to play around for better mpg and driveability. If you enjoy that sort of thing, you can do it yourself after they repair it with non...

    2018 Yukon longevity

Currently own a 2017 Denali. Bought it with 40k, now at 153k. I did have some pesky warranty issues earlier on: driver seat vibration motor, gas door flapper malfunction, radio/climate controller took a crap. The brake vacuum pump was replaced under warranty due to the TSB about low assist...
