The Tech2 is nice.. I own one.. But the issue I have is that its only good for a certain year range, of GM only. If I had to do my Tech2 purchase over, I would buy this instead, or the newer version of it.. like the Autel 906 or 908. It can do almost any car...- TollKeeper

You dont list where in this world you live.. If you live in a climate with snow/ice.. Go with HID or stay with Halogen. New stock exhaust manifolds or headers?
I, thankfully, didnt have to take off the passenger side. With the shoe horn job they did on getting that 5.3 in there, that passenger side is a bear to work on. I am thankful it was only the drivers side.- TollKeeper

When I replaced the head gasket on my Saab, I took a ratchet strap, wrapped it around the exhaust manifold inbetween 5 and 7, and took the other end, and put it thru the wheel well. Then took the other end of the ratchet strap, and tied it off at the lower spoke of the wheel. Then I just...- TollKeeper

How many miles are you at? I only ask cause the cats on my Voy are OEM at 212k, the cats on my Saab are OEM at 167k. Now the cat on my Aztek is failing at 132k. V6 vs V8 thou.- TollKeeper

2.7 Turbo
Older thread.. But.. I am one of the few that would actually like to see the 2.7 Turbo in the Tahoe/Yukon. Real world MPG seems to be on par with the BabyMax, but with the cheaper gas.. It just makes sense. As long as it can tow my small trailer with my quads (about 2500 lbs), I dont have any...- TollKeeper

Another thing, which I didnt see mentioned, you dont know what shape that Donor Transmission is in, since the tranny, and transfer case, has to be swapped. Find yourself a good 4x4/awd, and call it a day..- TollKeeper
