35s arnt gonna spontaneously break your truck. Many vehicles are rolling off the assembly line with them, including the new hd at4’s.
The warranty deal could be an issue though if you have that type of dealer.
Not sure if they will be coming out with something like this for these rigs eventually, but i know with the half ton ram air suspension you can buy spacers that actually push the bags down along with the extended ride height rods, so the bags are not “over inflated” per-say to gain the added height.
With the light on, at least with my wifes ‘16 denali, the vehicle is limited to a certain speed. Dont remember what it was, but some like 85 or so. Quite a pain in the ass at times!
The fox 2.0 units i put in a ‘16 denali netted 3” or more out of the box. Had to crank them down quite a bit to...
Yep im one of those people. Have a 3/4 ton for towing, but certainly dont use the truck for a truck. I would much rather have the extra seating and interior storage, and just connect a trailer when i actually need to haul something.
And with ford axing the excursion years ago, they would own...
Why they ever quit producing the 3/4 ton to normal public is beyond me. Sure they are nowhere near as hot of a seller as the 1/2 ton, but cmon they know they would still sell the shit out of them.
3.5” body lift? Ive never heard of one higher than 3”.
I would also check the body mounts…maybe something loosened up enough to allow some minor shifting, leaving a puck or two in a slightly different spot causing a minor squeak.
Also…ive never seen flares like that before on this body...
Ive run mopar for eons. Still do. Never even had to take mine to the dealer.
Truth is they all have issues. They are all overpriced. And they will all have ****** service centers scattered around the country. IMO just flip a coin and roll with it.
Yep, that worked! Looks good for sure!
4” with no drop brackets seems crazy to me. Are they actually netting 4”? Seems like there would be absolutely no droop travel left available in the suspension.
I would either spring for bils or fox units. No way in hell i would put the rc units in. I would use oem or aftermarket replacement units with a lower strut spacer before i went rc.
Lets see some pics of those 22’s with the bfg’s!
I dont feel the op was disrespected at all in any of the prior comments. Just people voicing their opinion about his question…isnt that okay…on a forum?
To the op…what would suing accomplish when the car manufacturers have no parts/chips to do the retrofit? Or are u insinuating that they do...
Not saying they arnt there…but they arnt where the last model years were. I was laying on the garage floor so didnt have an real good view of everything.
To my understanding, all high countrys have magnaride. When i ordered a kit nobody had any out with a magnaride bracket, so i was that i could use the old brackets i had from her ‘16 denali. When i got installing it i couldnt even find the arms for the ride height sensors…at least ones like the...
No you dont. At least not with my wifes ‘22 high country.
Post pics of the bracket…links…or whatever it is. I couldnt even find it when i installed the kit on hers.
