    Toyo AT3 Road Noise

10k miles on them so far. Hardly any wear. No cupping or anything. Have done a few rotations already.

    Toyo AT3 Road Noise

I am seriously baffled that they are that loud. Sound levels and annoyances are obviously different from one person to the next, but i shit you not, the 305/45/22 at3’s i put on my wifes high country are barely noticeably any louder than the stock street tires. We went on a several thousand mile...

    Toyo AT3 Road Noise

From my understanding the softness of the rubber is actually different between the e’s and xl’s, which does have an effect on road noise.

    Toyo AT3 Road Noise

I put them on my wifes ‘22 high country, in a 305/45/22 which is the xl version (more street friendly than the load range e’s). They are nearly silent in my opinion.

    AT4 lift

I dont think a leveling kit is gonna save you much trimming at all. Honestly probably save you none. Maybe a 12” lift, but not a leveling kit.

    RST paint is coming off

Dont think he did anything with it because it was a lease truck and he was turning it back in soon.

    RST paint is coming off

My friends at4 sierra had this same issue on certain pieces on the front of the truck. Large chunks flaking right off.

    2" rear drop, too low?

That, or toss a small spacer under the rear springs.

2022 Tahoe Z71 with Nitto Recon 285/60R20's installed

Yes, these newer rigs are much more level from the factory that the past models. Especially with air ride. I put a 1.5” level on my wifes tahoe high country (no air ride) because it did have a bit of visible rake. Much better now IMO.

Anyone running ReadyLift 3” lift with 18” wheels?

You have 70k miles on a ‘21+ model?!
  13. olyelr

    Air ride (Of course)

The air portion is just the shocks, not springs too. There are already coil springs back there for supporting the rear of the vehicle. All you need to replace is the shock, which you can replace with non air ones if you would like. But you will have to delete/bypass the air compressor and...

    Back Again!

Just get another one…the chance of getting one with a bad motor is really extremely slim. Buy a lotto ticket while you are at it.

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

Yea it certainly can i guess. But the gaps above the tires are the final giveaway i suppose.

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

Dosnt matter if the driveway is level. Could do the same thing on a steep hill…it wont change the gap between the wheel/tire and the body lines.

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

No way. Cant be 2 1/2”. That looks perfect. Looks more like 1 1/2”-2” to me. But if thats what it takes on your rig, thats where its at IMO !

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

The bronco comment made me lol. But so true. The square body chevy blazers and burbs were even worse compared to this body style….leveling one of those had a much taller front fender height compared to the rear.

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

Another thing to measure is the lower pinch weld area/steps. For that area to be perfectly level, the front fender height will be higher than the rear.

Has anyone done their own Leveling Kit?

Yes, you are spot on. The body lines are a but different then the fender lip height. So to truly level the fender openings, then the body lines wont be, and vise versa. I personally would not go any higher than 2” up front. Anymore than that, and it looks like its sagging ass in the back. But...

Question about wheel size and offset

Oh it will definitely rub. Turn the stock tire and wheel into the fender tight, where they get close to rubbing…then picture the new wheel/tire combo sticking out another few inches. You will definitely need trimming.

Question about wheel size and offset

I would venture to say it will rub. Do they stick out much further than the stock wheels? If so, can pretty much guarantee it…that size tire with the factory wheels/offset just barely clears on my wifes high country.

    AT4 lift

Anybody have pics on where the sensors are located? I mean, i did it on the garage floor with jackstands so i couldnt really get down there to see very well….but i legit couldnt find them. I assumed they didnt have them anymore.

Show off your 2015-2020 lowered tahoes and yukons

I agree. Any lower and it would be looking like its sagging ass imo.
