A friend of mine says he will sell me a housing for $101 locally.
Edit: apparently he said it’s “straight from oreilly” like can I just go get it myself than lol.
I watched that same video yesterday and tried to do it myself, and that guy in the video fails to mention that their screws inside the bumper you have to undo as well. It’s not just clips.
Did they make a driver side only version?
I see That carparts.com has driver side only
There’s two 10mm bolts holding it on that you can see with just the hood open but I didn’t know there was a third on in the side that you have to pop the splash shield off for in the wheel well that is snapped clean off. At this point I think I’m just going to leave it. I don’t think it is...
Maybe I didn’t explain myself enough
The clips are still there they simply just don’t click into place like they used to. I push the housing in like shown in the video and than it just sags an 1/8 inch. If I glue it in I’ll never get it out without breaking it. I can’t really think of a solution...

On my 2014 I changed the headlight bulbs and I had to give the housing a good yank to get the clips to break free. I didn’t really see any other option. I got the bulbs changed but the clips to one of the housings won’t snap back into place. It looks like the clips anre still on the housing but...
