    It was all metal. The funny thing is, he JUST pulled my bass boat to the lake, over an hour each way. Trans did perfect so he decided to pull the pan and change the fluid. Found that. I can't believe its shifting and working as good as it is.

    I have a slight grinding noise when turning, on the avalanche. In the summer its not as noticeable but with the temps cooling, it made me notice it the other day.

    Try to slide it away from the flywheel if you can. That may get it far enough away to give it that extra fraction of a second to return. Hopefully it's an easy fix for you

    I replaced mine with Everstart maxx. Same exact battery as the ac delco I removed, just different sticker. Nothing needed reset. Like a few have mentioned, I read that these trucks aren't the best suited for agm batteries because the way the charging system works. I had to take a lot more...
