I haven't read the full thread but I'd say $8-10k. You may get quotes to do it cheaper but you get what you pay for. Since the paint is aged and delaminating more easily, it would need to be stripped to at least the primer for proper adhesion.
Have you considered a full wrap?
I added it to my 08. I purchased a brand new wheel (# 22947767) from rock auto, the clock spring (# 25966964) from Malouf Chevrolet, and the retro fit harness from @cmatt on here. Highly recommend the harness. Everything works as it should. I thought I had more pics but that's all I can find...
It's not the angle. It's the shit boots they use and when I have to replace another one, I'm buying gm. I didn't get 30k miles out of the one on the drivers side. The originals i replaced as "preventative maintenance" had 200k on them
Hey @iamdub I don't mind sharing. As long as, well, you know....
He does this special thing @KidWgn
You have to experience it to believe it, and who are we (@randeez) to keep that all to ourselves
Hey @07Burb I'm not seeing this thread in the sticky section but its there when I log out. Can you see if I've somehow blocked this thread or something?
I lost one to a replacement valve stem last week myself. Worked fine, had the stem replaced. Sensor died on the way home. $75 later, new sensor installed and on the road again
