What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Sounds like an awesome trip! I've been to Pikes peak 3 times I think. The first two where before it was paved all the way to the top (vacations with my parents when I was still in high school). Coming back down, I always use low gear. Every time I see people riding the brakes all the way down...

    Escalade EV announced

My fear with hybrids is the fact that they seem to have the worst of both worlds. I hope they can make a solid performer with an all ev platform. Keeping the engine maintained seems to be lacking or hindsight with people who only drive enough to use the battery only. Fresh oil and fuel would be...

    Escalade EV announced

I also wish EVs weren't so politicized. I'm far from a tree hugger and I think they are awesome. At this point, they aren't for everyone but in 10 years, I believe they will be. Just look at how far we've came in the past 10. Teslas are awesome and will probably be our next vehicle. My issue...

    Escalade EV announced

Finally. I really want an ev but I'm not ready to upgrade yet. Maybe someday. As for home charging, it's a 220v plug IIRC. Not hard to wire up. The appeal for me is not stopping for gas and not having to do oil changes. Oh, and they're fast. Battery technology is improving at a rapid rate...

    Thin gray line tahoe build

Sounds like it just needs a tune. If they can keep it running by giving it gas, then tune is all ****** up.

I've not been in here for a bit. Came in expecting a fully assembled and running 6.0, got a full remodel instead. Nice work on it!

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

Sure pissed me off to pay what I paid for it and it fit like an eBay one. Its like the mount isn't long enough to push the headlight far enough out (gap between it and the bumper). I'm going to try to swap the bracket over from my old light. If that doesn't work, idk. Since I broke the tab, I...

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

Hopefully we'll wrap the car up this weekend, other than repainting hood (next few weeks on that). Truck is doing good. I think it needs more power but I logged it in IAT in the 90s and haven't had any KR. Today will get the 4th tank of 100% 93 so hopefully we can throw some timing at it and get...

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

Buying parts is like 99% of the fun. Speaking of parts, went to swap in the new GM headlight on the camaro last night. Fit like shit. Started tweaking and pulling, broke the damn tab off the mount. I think the mount is the issue so I'll try to swap the one over from my old headlight. Pissed me off.

Those assholes don't do much more than 45 in the fast lane either. All the while pacing the slow lane or if they get wild, bump up a mile an hour or two. Yes, I'm still salty about Louisiana drivers...

Growing up doesn't have to suck

Much research lead me to buying Walmart batteries. They are all the same (Johnson controls manufactured) with different stickers. Even my ACDelco was identical to the Walmart version. All the parts store batteries except NAPA are made by them.

    Grinding noise

The things they have mentioned trying are very simple tasks. If you can't complete any of those, I doubt you'll be able to complete the repair. It's hard to give an answer on something without knowing all the details. Process of elimination is the very first task to complete. I hope you can get...
