LED Brake Light Bulbs Will Disable Cruise Control on GMT800

Laughing cuz That’s where my brain went as well when I read the bit about losing the LED efficiency when adding resistors….. I’m really worried about the electrical efficiency in my big gas guzzling SUV…. :Big Laugh:

LED Brake Light Bulbs Will Disable Cruise Control on GMT800

Someone more knowledgeable, correct me if I’m wrong, but As I understand it cruise control not working with LED bulbs in the brake lights is GM’s built in safety feature at work. It doesn’t have anything to do with cruise control adding resistance to the brake lamps circuit. If the system...

Anyone have any insight on factory remote start key fobs for 2001-06 suburbans?

As far as I’m aware there wasn’t a factory remote start option in general for the GMT800 platform, nor have I seen any variant of the GMT800 key fobs with a remote start button added. Only lock, unlock, and panic buttons. I have a fully loaded 2006 Yukon XL Denali and per my build sheet from GM...

Light bar mounting in lower bumper opening

That looks great! I originally was thinking to do a bar where you have it mounted on the Tahoe but because I installed a bigger trans cooler there I don’t think there’s enough room plus I wanna keep that airflow there. Which is what lead me to think about the lower opening. Thankfully because my...

    Happy holidays from Chevy

My Gramps suffers from Parkinson’s and dementia and it just breaks my heart every time I talk on the phone with him. But all I can do is just give him love. The memories but if this video is exactly what it’s all about with those of our loved ones that suffer. Cool video for sure and man would...

RENAMED!! The adventures of Chase and his 2006 Yukon XL Denali!! Follow along on my travels!

Happy thanksgiving y’all! Mom and I were planning to stay home in big bear this year, with just one of our close family friends coming up from Hollywood. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to see my aunt and her husband down in villa park a lot this year. She practically begged my mom and I to...

    Loaded AT4 vs base Denali

Great choice. I personally prefer the static running boards. Less things to break down the line plus the extra benefit that they bigger static boards catch a lot more of the crud from the road flying up and less of it ends up hitting the paint on the lower doors. I like the Denali j two too over...

    Loaded AT4 vs base Denali

Pretty sure the high country package also only offers a 22 inch wheel option. But that being said deals are always struck up with dealers for wheel swaps. That’s a pretty easy problem to solve.

Light bar mounting in lower bumper opening

I would definitely make sure it’s aimed low and not right at the oncoming traffics eyes. Which is what made me think to mount in the lower opening so to help avoid that scenario.

My Fashionably Late 03 Denali XL Build Thread

A little two part plastic piece, one that slides over the other. The lower part has little “teeth” so to speak that clicks into the mirror base and the upper piece has little flat tabs that just tuck under the headliner and hold it in place. Time for a junkyard run for it haha.

New here, high schooler in Oxnard & in love w first car (05 Tahoe 80k miles). Need help on build

Welcome from Southern California! Looks to be a nice truck and 80k is pretty low mileage on these things! Working on these things is so simple for the most part and it’s awesome that you still have an auto shop in school! We had it and my mom made me take it my junior year. I hated it at the...

Light bar mounting in lower bumper opening

Hey y’all! Curious to know if anyone has mounted an LED light bar in an NBS Denali bumper lower opening? I’ve been thinking about this a while and never pulled the trigger. But wanted to see what it might entail. I currently have a denali down under full chrome grille mounted in the opening...

2023 Yukon Denali - 1700 miles failed engine

The lifter failure is known for the latest gen gas GM gas engines due to a faulty batch of components from the manufacturer of the lifters. Im guessing that your engine was assembled before your vehicle and had a set of those bad lifters. Lemon law may apply to you, based on how long it takes to...

I tried the kit and y fortis rely was not very good epoxying plastic together and it didn’t turn out great so I’ve put it on the back burner now for a while. I may gut the changer and use the pocket it’s mounted in.
