    Who getting a 2020 C8 Corvette?

Can you show it in white? That's how I'd want it. Tell mama you're getting orange 'cause you BG want orange. Then hand her the blank check for herself. joe

    The Case for the Tech-2

I'd have to be pretty desperate to buy from a guy with zero transactions under his belt. Also, a high score as a buyer doesn't help you much either. Go through a seller's feedback. Make sure a good chunk of his (high) score is from sales. Then, as someone said, look for feedback from him...

    White letters in or out

LOL Cuz that Levis pocket-stitching will never give you away. My version is that I've cut of contact with 2 people because they kept including me in group texts and emails. I don't want my name, email, or phone number posted to a bunch of strangers; unless I'm the one chosing them. joe

Yeah, that truck's hard for me to take seriously. It might as well have spinners on it. joe

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The powdercoater took it upon himself to add some metalflake on these wheels. It doesn't show in this picture, but the wheels come alive in bright sunlight. It was a very nice added touch. I called last week and thanked them for doing it. LOL The deeper style, like my '87 K5 had, would still...

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've realized since I made the change that part of the reason (to me, anyway) the old Rallyes look better is that they're deeper. joe

I'm Curious- Luggage Racks On Pickups

Thanks. I've never seen anything like that. It looks pretty good. Do I assume the tonneau is a solid piece, and that you can open it with the rack loaded? joe

    Visor mirror hinge broken...light on...

It's simple to disable. Remove the 3 screws holding the visor to the roof. As the visor lowers, you'll see a small (maybe 1/2" diameter) hole in the roof. That's where the connector for the visor light is. Pull the wires out 'til you have the connector, and unplug it. 5 minute job. joe

I'm Curious- Luggage Racks On Pickups

I was picturing a cover down at the tailgate level, not at the roof level. Either way, I've seen one now. Thanks. joe

I'm Curious- Luggage Racks On Pickups

I've never seen one. Yesterday, for the first time ever, I saw an Avalanche with a short shell/topper/whatever on it. It sure caught my eye. joe

I'm Curious- Luggage Racks On Pickups

There are certainly alternatives. I could say the same about SUVs- "... pretty much what the space behind the seats is for". I've never seen a truck with a rack on the bed cover. Mostly, I'm surprised the makers haven't seen them as another option for revenue. I think they might look awkward...

Started using E85 today ... it'll be interesting to see mileage results!

Thanks man. I agree about gov't muscle, and those two sources are on my 'Ignore' list too. joe

IDK man, it seems to me that, regardless of the yield per acre, there'd be more available for food if less of it was being used to destroy carburetors. The 176.6 doesn't help me without a yield number, and date, to compare it to. joe

I'm Curious- Luggage Racks On Pickups

Am I the only one who's wondered why luggage racks aren't available on pickup trucks? Especially crew cabs? Four adults and no place to store or secure luggage. What do y'all think? Good idea? joe

I don't know who's right in this argument, but less energy isn't going to get you more power. About all I know about corn gas is that it's corrosive, rots rubber, and raises food costs. joe

Sansui was considered very upper class then. The 9090dB was their King of the Hill. Teac was top shelf too. I think Fisher was considered consumer grade, but I'm not sure. joe

The first 2 things I bought with my Paperboy money were Cream's 'Disraeli Gears' and 'Steppenwolf Live'. I still have those too. They haven't seen daylight in years, but I still have about 300 LPs. joe

LOL I still have a Pioneer H-R100 Dolby 8-Track recorder, that I bought in '73 or '74, for my home stereo. I have one last blank, unopened 8-Track tape to go with it. Even better, I still have my Sansui 9090dB receiver from '77. Both still worked when I retired them. joe
