I had one of those double DIN Kenwoods installed in mine about a year and a half ago. I had trouble at first with insufficient memory, or processing power, or something.
I had 9000+ MP3s loaded on a USB drive. The songs were loaded twice-- one was as a single folder with all music loaded...
In '06 we sand-blasted the chrome off of Iso-Grips (motorcycle grips, chrome-plated plastic), and powder coated them wrinkle black. They looked good and the chrome came off surprisingly easily. It was about as tough as hosing dirt down the driveway.

I bought some old factory Rallye wheels for mine. I Paid $60 each to have them blasted and powder coated. They did 'em back in gray but added some flake. It was a nice surprise.

Not that it's really relevant but I just ordered front seat covers. Mine still look nearly new and I want to keep them that way.
The covers claim to be leather, and to match the stock color, fit, and style.
joe
LOL I have that too, but don't like it.
Even though you have to hold the button down a couple of seconds, I still manage, somehow, to keep accidently unlocking mine.
I had to develop the new habit of checking the hatch regularly.

I was never that manly. I never rode a hardtail and always had a windshield or fairing.
Urban riding scares me any more.
Just for grins, here's mine.
joe
I agree with you man.
At the risk of getting too deep here, I think most of these guys are looking for an identity- for somewhere to fit in. There's a guy at work who's jumped from fad to fad over the years- from tats to piercings to muscles to truck hydraulics to lo-riders to the Raiders...
It's funny. Every Harley rider I've ever known had the same attitude-- ride what you like.
Some DO mock Harley wannabes though- guys who try to copy the looks and (perceived) style while, at the same time, bad-mouthing Moco.
The Asian makers have spent fortunes trying to milk Harley's formula...
Oh Lord! Stop! You're killing me! I haven't seen this much wit since Don Rickles.
I must've gotten a bad one. No breakdowns and nary a puddle. Ever. Mine ain't even black.

Yeah, he's a real funny guy.
I've had my '93 H-D FXR for 16 years. I failed it once in '06 (I crashed) but it's never failed me. Neither did my prior ones.

I sold an '01 Tahoe to buy this '95. I drove that '01 for 12 years. The only failure was the fuel pump. If there were a 2-door '01, that's what I'd be driving. It was a great truck and I like the looks of them.

That's a pretty good description of the condition of my '95 2-Dr when I bought it in mid '18. I looked hard for months and the 2-Drs ('95-'99) were selling for much more than the 4-Drs.
It looked to me like the hobbiest/enthusiast buyers had added the 2-Drs to their target lists. I think I...
Big Mama...
I don't have anything as decadent as seat warmers, but I'm gonna guess that their controls are independent of the regular heat/AC controls.
joe
If you don't already have an alarm, I'd recommend a combo- alarm with remote start. I had one installed in my '95 about a year ago. It's very handy and I feel a little safer about the truck, since I park it outside.

Amazon sells a ton of different ones, with different combinations of abilities. I tried several of them. It's been a while but it may have been a Satechi. I got satisfactory service from one that BT'd from my phone to the unit, and had a built-in FM transmitter to send the tunes on to the...
