Learned I can’t find my front struts.
AC #580416 or GM# 22853793
RA only has one and I can’t find them anywhere else.
Suspension codes 6WZ and 7WZ
I don’t need them now but…
@915_Tahoe does 22853793 supersede to another number? backordered?

In my opinion a set of reman auto-ride shocks from Arnott and a new compressor either from Arnott or Dorman would make a world of difference.
I would keep that auto ride.
Trying to figure out which front wheel bearing is making noise. With the front jacked up they both sound equally noisy when I spin them. Could they both have gone bad at the same time? 113k miles.
I was thinking a table top or bucket sized one would work and use less solvent but how do you dispose of the solvent? I use a drain pan and some gasoline. Then I just dump it into my drain oil bucket.
I could try that. I have to have her drive while I check it out.
I can confirm the source of the cold air is not from the floor outlet. I can feel the hot air blowing out there. I can also feel the cold air pouring in further out towards the door. The glove box is also cold. I bet it’s that case...
I went out and looked at it. I opened and lowered the glove box and can see a horizontal but slightly angled case joint right above the blower housing. It is on the cold outside air side of the blower. Thats a good 8” long joint with a screw at each end. I will get some sealer and try sealing...
Right. I have heat blowing but no cold air pouring in. Its like the recirculate door isn’t closed all the way and cold air is pouring in at highway speeds. When driving slower there is no cold air leak.
I will confirm temps but we do have heat blowing on that side, on the floor and cold air pouring out of the lower cover for the HVAC assembly right below the glove box.
Tech2 can command full open and closed. Closed or outside air measures 30 counts. I did a calibration and didn’t receive the feedback code this time. Going to need to go for a drive. I wonder if I can see that through the panel opening or if the air bag needs to be out.
I worked a week in Ft McMurray Alberta one winter. The temp with the wind chill was -40°. We had to work outside in shifts of 10 minutes to get our work done.
