Was replacing the oil pressure sensor on my dad’s 2012 sierra 6.2 and had my fat hand jammed back behind the intake next to the fuel line and broke a dry rotted plastic hose. The hose connected next to the oil pressure sensor and came up and forward on the drivers side. I was able to get the...
I just did my drivers side mount over the weekend in my garage on my 2016 6.2. What a pain in the ass. I pulled the wheel/wheel liner, sheering shaft and thought I could get it with just these two removed. I should have just pulled the exhaust manifold from the get go. The botton two engine side...
Sorry I forgot to update you guys. I did the GM reman and got it back about a month ago. Had the AFM tuned out of it also and just had to replace the drivers side motor mount in my garage over the weekend. What a money pit
its all gotten better except the 1-2 shift flare and the occasionaly 3-4 or 4-5 flare (i think its the 4-5 flare). Wish i had more space. I used to tune LS stuff and have done a lot of work 15 years ago on my stuff but not now.
over the last few days...after the fast relearn and i took posession and put on a couple hundred miles...I've experienced 1 to none delayed engagements... 80% of the time shift flares 1-2 shifts...sometimes it shifts normal but not normally and occasionally a 4-5 (i think the gear) shift...
Someone in the Cadillac forums mentioned a buzzing sound could be heard after engine is shut off if the valve body (I'm guess solenoid is defective).
So I pulled it into the garage this morning as I was going to do plugs/wires and filters this afternoon and there was a definite buzzing/fast...
Thanks for the info. They scanned after the temp sensor replacement and did the quick learn. I don’t think they suspected the VB going into this as it’s normally that temp sensor causing the issues. They just dropped pan replaced sensor, fluid, and filter and put her back together for a test...
New to me 2016 Escalade with 113k miles. Had a little bit of a harsh 1-2 shift. I noticed the trans temp acting goofy so after doing some research I got the dealer to replace the trans temp wiring harness, filter, and fluid yesterday under special warranty. They did a fast learn on it after and...
I tried turning my garage lights off this morning as it was dark out. The lights didnt turn on. Now I already had the door open so maybe I'll try that test again starting from dark conditions and a closed door
I was fooling around with them in my garage last night and this morning and only once did they turn on. I'm not sure whats going on. I didnt see anything in the menu settings for light options
What rhyme or reason causes the power boards to turn the light strip on? Seems like sometimes I open the door and they turn on and sometimes they don't...what gives?
First is a night picture then a couple daylight out of the sun pics of my Titanium Rush. Just got the windows and windshield tinted but don’t have any pics of it clean after that
The built in infotainment screen on the Yukon looks 1000x better than the tablet sticking out of the dash on the Tahoe. For that reason alone I didnt even consider the Chebby
Dang, I forgot about the winter shut downs. Hey where is the plant that these are built? My 22 F450 that I just took delivery of was built in KY and it was in my driveway less than a week after I got the "built" notification
Mine also. Fingers crossed that its done this week. When does the code get updated again? Does it go from 3400 to 3800? I haven't followed too closely. How long from built till delivery typically? I think I got my wife talked into taking delivery of this.
