    Really loud creaking from rear

Final update: It was exactly what was written here: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/stopping-07-tahoe-creak.3437/#post-221691 The combination of lubing up all the weatherstripping around the vehicle and the rear tailgate hinge resolved the creaking and squeaking. The truck is so...

    Really loud creaking from rear

Thanks so much. I just placed an order. It was only $10, it'll give me peace of mind anyway irrespective of whether that's it or not.

    Really loud creaking from rear

Are these the right ones for my truck? Again, mine is a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali XL. https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-45G0631-Professional-Suspension-Stabilizer/dp/B000C9M5HU/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1522423151&sr=1-1&keywords=ACDELCO+45G0631&dpID=41dX5tLf%252BSL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Nose up or down? I parked nose up before I sealed the sharkfin and it didn't leak. This is the only reason why I'm not entirely sure that sealing the sharkfin fixed it.

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Update: till today, here's what I did: 1. Bridged the seam gap above the driver's side door (did a real sloppy job on this). 2. Put silicone gasket sealer on the tip of the rail that is on the edge of the windshield above the driver's side door (that's behind the rubber door gasket). 3. Put...

    Really loud creaking from rear

Ok much thanks for the info. When I get a chance I'll do this, I will; it's just that it started raining (and yes, it sqwaks in the rain too). I wanted to know if it was a sway bar bushing (rear) or a sway bar bushing to frame, because all the vendors specify one or the other, and I don't know...

    Really loud creaking from rear

I just checked this. The tabs are not broken, and the trim pieces have an equal gap on each side; they are NOT touching the glass.

    Really loud creaking from rear

I sprayed on the outside, but then I got under the truck real close and stuck the grease nozzle (the pinpoint one) directly into the crevices I could and soaked them both. By the way, are those sway bar bushings, or sway bar to frame bushings?

    Really loud creaking from rear

Ok thanks so much for clarifying. If that's it, what can I use to stop it from rubbing against the glass?

    Really loud creaking from rear

I'm not sure what you mean; the body and taillight are all one piece; the entire taillight piece is actually screwed into the glass hatch from behind.

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

It's definitely not the door. The leaking is happening at a much greater height than the door drains. It's right where the driver side kick panel is on the dashboard. At any rate, I sealed up the sharkfin and the roof rack mounting holes. It's supposed to rain the next few days. I'm really...

    Really loud creaking from rear

Hi guys, I have a conundrum. I've got really loud creaking from somewhere in my rear end. This creaking happens over bumps of any kind. It's not as much a squeak, but a loud creaking, and sometimes it even screeches. I tried everything I could possibly think of: 1. Soaked every single rubber...

    Annoying squeaking in rear

I got this exact issue on my Denali. I'm going to buy some lithium white grease this evening and then coat them tomorrow (as well as any other rubber thing I can see). Let me know if this works out for you so that I know I'm on the right track.

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Yes, I would be worried about quality. The OEM glass in my opinion is always of a higher standard and is much stronger than replica/equivalent.

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Where did you get the windshield repaired? I'm maybe interested in getting a new windshield, but I do NOT want to use 3rd party OEM stuff (like Safelite). How do we get our windshields replaced with OEM factory stuff? Only the dealer can do it?

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Ok, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I've already checked all the boots and rubber grommets in the door jamb and at the bottom, none of them are leaking. Definitely originating from up above, since the driver side kickpanel (that opens the dash up on the left side) is where the water is...

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

I have not yet checked the shark fin. I will check that this weekend. I'm getting water from the firewall as well. It's a constant leak. My windshield has never been replaced. It's the original GM windshield. It has the GM logo and says AS-1 on it as well. I was wondering that about the...

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

I just inspected everything I possibly could. I can't find anything leaking. It's snowing out, and I had the truck on, so the water beaded up on the hood and the windshield, giving me a perfect opportunity to test with "free" water. I have the truck on an incline, so when I opened the hood, the...

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Yes, I did see that online! Mine is a 2012, but the video is for the older gen. Do you think this would apply to my 2012 as well?

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Thanks for the suggestion. It's definitely, 100% not coolant. It's straight up water (rain water, salt water from the roads).

Really bad driver side water leak: carpet soaked

Hey all, I was turned onto this issue a few weeks ago and I've been struggling with it since. I could definitely use some suggestions here. 2012 Yukon Denali XL. I had kept noticing a spot of water on the driver's side carpet. When I was cleaning up the car, I took the mat out and found that...

    New headlights for 07 Tahoe

Did you change the main H13 bulb to LED? Not sure if you meant that. If you did, that's not only illegal, but the light output sucks even worse than it already did. Everyone just needs to do it right and do it like this. Hands down...

Hey, thanks for that! That's how mine sounds to a T!

    Exhaust/vacuum leak?

Wanted to update this thread. Ever since I did what @swathdiver told me to do, the startup "choke" has been practically eliminated. It's 33 degrees out right now, and I just started it up cold. No hesitation/choke. Yesterday was 22 degrees, and it didn't do it either. I even took a video of it...

    Exhaust/vacuum leak?

I know it's a completely different vehicle, but this is exactly what it sounds like.
