2019 Escalade 10L80 transmission fluid change

If the idea was to simply change the fluid, they don't even have to remove the pan; they can do it from the cooler lines. This is the process for checking the fill level. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showpost.php?s=3da10758ecd25cfdff4b7ad87b542d19&p=11303408&postcount=2

2019 Escalade 10L80 transmission fluid change

Nope, in the DMV. Yes, I have the entire procedure to do the fluid level check. Doing the fluid level check and the actual pan drop/filter replace is the easy part. The ONLY part I think I'm going to have difficulty with is getting the pan off the transmission. If I have any problems with this...

2019 Escalade 10L80 transmission fluid change

No fluid exchange machine. The way I'll be doing this is pulling the cooler line from the radiator, draining, the refilling, until it runs cherry red. Just like in the first video. I did this 3 times on my old 2012 Yukon Denali and it worked great.

Yep, ULV. That's what was specified in the manual.

2019 Escalade 10L80 transmission fluid change

I'm going to do this in my driveway tomorrow. Good point about doing the fluid exchange first; I'll do that and then the pan drop.

    2019 Escalade fuel level wrong

This is how the fuel level sensor looks for my truck. Doesn't seem to be like a traditional sender kit or float...

    2019 Escalade fuel level wrong

2019 Escalade ESV. All of a sudden the fuel level is way inaccurate. It has a 31 gallon tank, with a range of about 530 miles. The gauge is digital. I can fill up the truck completely, and while driving, it will "lose" 2-3 miles of range over a short amount of time. The worst I've seen is that...

2019 Escalade 10L80 transmission fluid change

I need to do a transmission fluid change for my 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV. It has the 10 speed 10L80 transmission. I'm at 108K miles. I want to do this myself, but it seems to be much more difficult than I expected. I got all the parts, and a shop said they would do the pan drop/filter...

2019 Escalade front passenger seat rattling real bad

Anyone got any advice for the front passenger seat clicking/rattling very loudly? Randomly it rattles to all hell, then other days it's quiet. Basically, when going over any type of rough road, or simply accelerating, that seat or something in that area makes a very loud audible "CLACK" sound...

    Knocking when going over bumps

I went outside and torqued all the body mount bolts on my Escalade to spec. Some of them were slightly loose. Then, I successfully fixed the loud banging/clattering I complained of when going over bumps in another thread. A few months ago, the dealer replaced the rear left axle bearing and...

    Knocking when going over bumps

Update: changed all sway bar bushings and the sway bar links up front. No change in noise. Took to stealership, tried to let them diagnose. They heard it, but couldn't find it because they didn't have time and scheduled me for next Tuesday. I'm going to point them to either motor mount (because...

    Knocking when going over bumps

Yep, absolutely. I do that religiously because one thing I hate is brake noise. Loose suspension component sounds like a definite culprit. I went ahead and got new sway bar bushings and sway bar link kit. They will be here tomorrow.

    Knocking when going over bumps

I can assure you it's not this, because like you, I thought it was either the anti-rattle clips or maybe even really bad pad-slap. The calipers, anti-rattle clips, and pads are brand new. I went back in yesterday, tore the brakes apart, and ensured that everything was in their proper place...

    Knocking when going over bumps

Matter of fact, yes. I tested it by accelerating and just ever so lightly touching the brake pedal, so in effect accelerating and braking at the same time, and when doing so, the rattling/clattering sound disappears. The second I remove my foot from the brake, it clatters.

    Knocking when going over bumps

2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Bought at 24K miles, at that time, had replaced all sway bar bushings. At 104K miles now. When coasting over bumps/rough road, I'm hearing a loud knocking/clattering coming from the bottom left of the vehicle (I think). Can hear it easily with the driver side window...

Did something get bent (serious question)?

2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV. I own up to it: I had a real lapse in judgment. Thursday, I took my truck to a shop to get them to road force balance the wheels and tires. It came back that 3 out of 4 failed. Whatever they did, made the truck feel worse, and it was loopy as hell. When I got the...

    New Escalade owner!

A few days after driving this thing around, I'm completely in love! It doesn't even feel like a truck...but it is a truck. I still have the ***** original Bridgestone tires (getting them replaced with Michelin Defender LTXs tomorrow!), and in spite of that, it performed BEAUTIFULLY in heavy...

    New Escalade owner!

Thank you so much! Yep, it has a sunroof! And it has a 2nd row bench, which I actually much prefer over the captain chairs! :) Yes, this actually was an excellent deal. In the entire DMV area where I live, which is one of the worst areas in the country to try and buy cars, there were exactly 3...

    New Escalade owner!

Hey guys! New platform owner. Last week I sold my 2012 GMC Yukon Denali and got into a 2019 Escalade ESV Luxury (with some Premium features!). It was a long time coming; my '12 started to nickel and dime me pretty badly. I ended up spending over $2400 in the course of 2 weeks, and it stranded me...

2012 GMC Yukon Denali XL: oil leak discovered

Update: oil leak fixed. I had initially suspected it was the oil cooler lines. This turned out to be true. They were replaced, along with the power steering pump, which actually was starting to whine and was badly rusted at the bottom. Had the shop change it while they were at it.

    Advice-2012 Yukon Denali Front Suspension

I'm considering doing this soon too. What I'm hoping you all can do is help out with part numbers. I'm obviously keeping the Autoride Z55 (none of that bypassing mess). Should I be going AC Delco OEM? Or is Arnott ok as well for the OEM factory-type ride? They have complete shock sets that are...

    Finally stranded me...

I already replaced all my battery cables in the past, and had since made sure they were all in good working order and protected using di-electric grease. They are not crusty/corroded, so it wasn't the cables. I wished it was, because it would have been a simple fix. So far, the new starter has...

    Finally stranded me...

I'd like to know more about this. Where can I find info and how to install? Google search didn't bring up anything relevant.
