Thanks for posting that. I don't fully understand the terms they are using. I've also never heard of it before you. Curious how easy it is to use and if it actually is beneficial.
Is that what you are going with over the GMPP?
So when the infotainment goes out? Seat motors? Ac actuators that need dash removal? Air bags and connectors. ? Gauge cluster? Window motors? Door lock actuators? Air conditioning ? Lift gate motor and struts ?
Does geico cover those things?
I haven't used that. I use
Mobil 1 ESP X2 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20, 1 Quart, Case of 6 https://a.co/d/1pZ4GkU. Need 1 more additional quart
And this filter
ACDelco Gold UPF66R Specialty - Ultraguard Engine Oil Filter https://a.co/d/0ag0E7S
GMPP is easy. A 23 year old analog gauge cluster for a yukon goes for $300. Not really cheap all things considered. Plus GMPP has trip interruption also. It's for peace of mind and won't take much to hit 3000$ worth on these new vehicles.
I think a big Mac cost .45 cents when they first came out. Equivalent to 4.05 today. Really not too far off what an actual big Mac costs. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/03/20/mcdonalds-big-mac-prices-state-by-state.html
It's the washer pump. Doubt they give you a loaner for that.
If your unhappy trade it in. 21 is first year. All gm products have issues on the first year release. Same can be said for many brands and manufacturers.
Wish you better luck.
Shhhhhh your making too much sense. This is the same argument for raising minimum wage. It won't have a negative affect on anyone since all these corps make billions in profit.
But we are trained to hate each other instead of corporations who run this place.
One thing that will save your butt with GMPP is that they cover seals and shocks and and a few other things that do wear out and don't necessarily fail/leave you stranded.
I've never seen many extended warranties do that and I've been around a bit.
When we would have customers approaching...
Sounds good. If I took your car home I'd have my voltage meter attached to battery and pasted to windshield so that I can definitively say that alternator isn't dropping out.
Sometimes the voltage regulator starts to fail randomly and you won't know unless you see it since checking it may show...
Its because supply will be constrained. It's not because they don't want too. It's to have enough to go around.
With that said tho I wouldn't say a random salesman is the authority on this. Just like some dealers mark up and some don't I sincerely doubt this is coming from GM itself not this...
I wouldn't lose.sleep over this. They just want a professional shop instal. Whether that's the dealer or an authorized shop. If you do it yourself you can always remove it too.
Get an android. Kidding.
It's your phone. Maybe restart. Make sure the suv has your phone set as 'first to connect' that helps buggy phones connect quickly wirelessly
Call gm. We used to rebuild those things front to back. Just because you are lucky doesn't mean it isn't problem prone.
I've never seen a gm 4 speed with that much miles. Not even close. And I have rebuilt thousands.
Well your/our/everyone's data is harvested and sold to the tune of billions of dollars every year. If we taxed companies for stealing and using your/our data we could fund a UBI that way.
So your not far off.
Look it up. Productivity is thru the roof. Thank technology for that. No sense in keeping with archaic principles. People used to argue about the 40 hour work week being too easy as well until it became the norm.
As for prices. Business doesn't need to raise prices if profits are stable...
