Does anyone have any links to diagrams showing how all the pieces of the evap system connect together? I've tried searching but haven't had any luck. Especially looking for any hoses that connect to the fuel tank. And if anyone can get hose size or connection type that would help also. My burb...
So According to these measurements we can have a tank is that 30 length x36 width and a little over ten inches tall
29.75 width x 33.5 length x 13.13 in. Is the dimensions of a 98-99 42 gallon tank so that sounds like it will be tight but should fit if turned 90 degrees which would mean building...
I know this is an old thread but instead of making a new thread on this topic I figured bring this one back from the dead. I have been wanting to do this since the day I bought my burb. Has anyone done this yet?
I was thinking of getting a 42 gallon tank and the rear crossmembers that the tank...
I was thinking about the police lights when I was planning how to do mine. Alot of time they hang off the visor mounts that's where I got that idea and normally they don't shield them much. I don't think glare will be to bad from what pictures I have found of people who mounted the light inside...
Nothing wrong with gm parts. But comparing my stock gm arms to the mevotech ones there is a definite difference in joint size and the upper control arms one side is alot thicker than stock. I am lifting mine at same time as replacing everything and I plan to abuse it on trails and through...
I just got mevotech upper and lower control arms and outer tie rods from rock Auto but I got there tough terrain extreme ones with larger ball joints and I think thicker casting. Mine all look and fit good and my ball joints are fully seated lifespan of the parts idk yet haven't driven on them...
The bar in the hd bumper looks good I've seen those if I ever swap an hd front clip on I would do that but not with it on the ground. And was planning on doing windshield by using a transfer scribe and do the cardboard template in 3 or 4 sections that will get taped together before being...
Trail lightning mostly. And I figured a seal similar to car trunk seals would work against the glass and foam tape on the back should seal off glare decently enough hopefully. And yea a little bit of work but it's a pretty basic fab project hard part will be scribing and matching curve of the...
Idk if this is right section to post this but is in the burbs interior. Has anyone seen it done on a nnbs truck burb or hoe? There's a youtube video of a newer chevy truck done that way and there's kits for jeeps to do it. I like the idea of it being inside because can't be stolen as easily,no...
Are you saying I want it to bind? And everything is brand new it shouldn't have any premature wear. And it's at almost full droop even with it on its own weight. It only went down a couple inches when I let jack down. My wife asked why I stopped letting it down I pulled the jack out and she was...
Passenger side front is done other than bleeding brakes and hooking up the sway bar. It will settle some when we start to drive but currently is sitting 4 inches higher than it used to in the rear and 6.5 inches higher in the front. Way more than it should be with a 3.5 lift in front and 2.5 in...
With brake hose bracket upside down abs wire can't clip to it without hitting the bolt and frame so drilled 2 holes in upper control arm mount to clip abs wire. note how close bracket is to the alignment cams but they do clear and have full range of motion
Updated title seems I'm covering more than just rear coils on here.
I can't wait to get it done. doing it with mostly hand tools in a driveway takes forever I should have done it in my friends shop on the lift. And if I just followed lift instructions and didn't do all the extra welding it...
Last 2 nights have been long late nights so haven't had chance to update this first night I reinforced the rearward passenger side upper control arm mount and flipped brake line bracket upside down and installed the upper control arm, strut, calliper and brake hose. Last night cut the...

Anyone have any links to extended rear brake hoses the only ones I have found are from crown performance and they are almost exactly 200 bucks after tax and shipping. Might say screw it and order them if I can't find any others.
Rear sway links I can't find much of anything for them. I have 2.5...
Thinking about ordering the spohn adjustable control arms and panhard bar for my suburban. Pan hard seems easy to adjust just get axle center side to side. But I have no clue how to set up the control arms properly. Can anyone tell me or point me to a detailed write up on how to adjust them...
