Interesting. Mine is having the Occasional hard 1-2 shift as well. Recently I replaced the filter and fluid. Seems to have helped but I catch it doing it randomly. Seems to do it more often constant use, or a long period of stop and go driving. I use it for work every day so it's on and...
Sure but it's the plastic bushing the dry rots and falls part. Similar to the wiper bushings. I plan to pull it apart and head to the hardware store or local autoparts for the bushing assortment kit and find one that fits. This is assuming mine just fell off the mounting stud.
So my shift lock solenoid crapped out last night, or perhaps fell off the mounting stud. What's everyone found to be the best fix for this??? See video below for reference. I has to use the long hose picks I just got to snake down the column and wedge it upwards so I could shift it into park and...
Cool. Sounds like you had it under control. Just checking. I'm surprised how the line clogged up like that. Mine had charcoal pellets in it but was clean with minimal effort. I did dropped the tank and blow out the assembly of hoses on top of the tack.
Glad I didn't have this issue when I did mine. May I asked what you are using to blow these things out. A proper blow gun with the correct blow tip at the nozzle will ensure maximum air delivery. Your regular metal tipped nozzle won't deliver the same air volume/pressure. Considering the length...
So does it count when I buy stuff and use the tahoe as an Excuse!?!?! Hahaha!! I hopped on the Matco truck and got these. Not sure I need them buy they spoke to me.
Cost of convenience. Don't feel bad their Duralast units are all made by Delco Remy or MPA. Your new one is a great unit. I have a Duralast gold 160 Amp alternator on the tahoe I desperately needed when mine went.
Well. This is a good plan in today's pricing, but when i was looking, the local certifits and collision suppliers were asking $80+
Either way I was in no rush and didn't mind the savings. That website has some nicely priced items.
Yeah. I bought mine almost 12 months ago on sale at $19.99 and was like $15-16 to ship.
I was expecting garbage for $19 bucks but was pleasantly surprised at the piece when it arrived

Looks like crap. Post address and place at curb so I can assist in disposing of this junk. Coming from Houston so don't wait up!! Hahaha!!
I'm jelly, my back wiper has the typical white mark where the paint is gone. It's on the to-do list, way at the bottom!!
I am Dewalt fan but I been cheating on the brand after I bought a Milwaukee setup during Christmas at home depot. Now I have a 3/8 drive Milwaukee ratchet and the 1/2 impact gun, both in non fuel and I love them both!! I'm sure the fuel models have more to offer but I don't need them. My air...
I was agreeing with you. Was trying to understand how they jacked that one up. But someone made a good point that rotors may have not had enough meat to even machine in the first place. Warped on initial use after reinstalling.
