Ive replaced a lot of roof panels and cross members / supports. Depending on year, condition, etc of the truck, Im sure it will be repairable. Do you have any pics you can post? How big was this pole?
I had one where it was on a car transport and the upper deck came down ontop of it. Bent...
This has probably been touched on before - but is there a way to reduce the lag of tap to shift time on the 6L80e? There is such a long lag from the time you hit the button to the time it actually shifts. Not sure if you guys can program that to be a lesser time? I know if you're in Drive...
Jump pin 5 (pink) with pin 8 (yellow). So you don't back feed the whole system I would snip the yellow wire behind your tap. That will illuminate the cluster at all times day and night. Nice thing to have.
No, they are not "plug and play". Youll still need a Y pipe and some exhaust work done. Shorty headers will bolt up to your stock Y pipe, but not yield much in performance gains. Long tubes require more work.
Rather surprising that after 2 years of being on market they havent produced any yet. That's probably not a good sign, unless they have something for SEMA. Although personally I'm tired of seeing pocket flares on every leveled and lifted pickup known to man.
I'm thinking less. You should be able to get 22s for not much more than that. Plus - looks like you don't have chrome lugs or centers for them either. They certainly don't look very clean, as Jacob said.
If you can - all the more power to you, but in the 10 years its been out, I don't believe its ever been done. Mainly because of the Class 2 / LAN system difference. I know the guys who have done the NNBS Escalade dash in NBS trucks used an aftermarket headunit becasue of the issue.
Well just FYI - the GMT900 (07-14) LAN system has been around for over 10 years, and (hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong) but nobody has successfully put a 07-14 radio in a NBS and made it work correctly. Sure you can do aftermarket which is your easiest and best option, but as far...
Its been discussed many times. There have been a select few who have done a NNBS Escalade interior to a NBS pickup, but not many. Its a whole hell of a lot of work, especially when it comes down to electronics. Totally different protocols between the two trucks that do not interact the same...
Procomp makes a speedometer calibrator solely for tire size / gear changes, its slightly cheaper than a programmer. Sounds like your cluster may be bad to begin with. Stepper motors arent hard to replace if you know how to solder, so that may be a cheap option to look into.
