So no surprise the express van has been acting up lately.
Symptoms: cylinder 8 misfire only in the morning. Literally only in the morning. I cannot reproduce the problem throughout the day even if the truck sits on the job for 8 hours. Won’t throw a CEL. It just reads cyl 8 mis pending on the...
You won’t get a check engine light for changing any bulbs. Worst case scenario would be if you used LED turn signals. You would get hyper flash if you don’t use resistors.
Yeah it’s well worth the $15. I bought one and it beats sitting there messing with the air pressure. It’ll usually trigger the sensor in like 2 seconds or less.. makes the whole process less than a minute
This is the one I got if you were unsure

If I recall correctly there’s an amp turn on wire that needs to be powered to get the speakers to work. Assuming you have a factory amp
And what fless asked is important also. I’ve always used the cheap harness that loses all chimes. Sounds like you bought one of the more expensive ones
Yeah I know. After my comment I felt like “that old guy” who says I walked to school in 3 ft of snow uphill both ways lol. Times are changing fast.
35k was my budget and I still went over. I just couldn’t fathom spending 60k on my truck now. I guess I’m glad I bought it when I did
Good luck...
Ohhhh I didn’t realize you were talking about rear heat… I didn’t have that luxury in my Tahoe lol. I don’t understand why I had air only in the rear
It was nice to have the breeze on the back of my neck in the middle of the summer. But the winters were cold. Took a while to warm that truck up
If I’m not mistaken my buddies avalanche had broken quick connects on the heater core at the firewall. He just cut the quick connects off and slipped the hoses on with hose clamps. Has had heat ever since.
Now I know you don’t like to half ass but what’s the difference between hose clamping to...
What do you dislike about the tires? Just curious. I’ve driven a lot of cars and never particularly hated the tires.. maybe something in just not understanding
In my opinion. That’s just too damn steep in price.
I bought a 15 Yukon Denali in 2020. I know it’s a little older. But only had 50k miles for $36k. Had every option except motorized running boards and apple car play. Added OEM equipment for about $1800 now she has the running boards (OEM) and...
I can definitely tell you there’s a Silverado around my way with 20” ram wheels on it…. No verification about rubbing though. But I absolutely have seen it
You gotta have some underlying problem. I leave things plugged in my van all the time. Charging flashlights, my wireless charging pad is always plugged in, all my usb charging devices are plugged in. If I leave the LED dome lights on it won’t even phase the battery. My van sat for 7 days last...
Only thing I can think of is that he has a buyer on the hook that wants your particular Tahoe. I really don’t know anything about the features of the 21+ SUVs but I definitely think the Yukon looks better
The only time I’ve have anything similar to death wobble was related to the wheels.
I had 24x10 iroc replica wheels that would follow the road like crazy. If there were any imperfections in the road my wheels would follow it left and right. I considered installing aftermarket steering...
I warned you. It’s ugly but here’s my lights. I pulled the plastic pieces off. The top repair cracked…. Hmm I’m just gonna solder again and hope for the best I guess. Not really sure how else to fix it.
Since you didn’t tag me properly I didn’t get this notification
As far as I’m aware only my driver light was out intermittently
However I literally came back here today to see if you got any clarification from anyone else. It has come to my attention tonight that my driver brake light is...
I soldered mine myself. Going on about a year with no issues.
My Yukon was apparently like 1 month out of that rear light warranty thing.. and even if they wanted to help me the tail lights were on an unknown ETA back order.
They quoted me somewhere in the ballpark of $700+ For just 1 tail...
GT or GXP?
I tried to get my hands on one like 6 years ago but the payments were too high for my liking.. ended up getting a sierra and never got a chance to revisit the g8s.. good luck and enjoy
I Noticed 02 sensor extender bungs have slowly drifted off the market too. Was able to find with no issues a few years ago. Had to get one recently and couldn’t find one
Had to work around and use a spark plug non Fowler and drill it out
