All I can say is that me and the wife wouldn’t be able to afford the cars we drive if I didn’t do all the work on them..
She drives her little Mercedes’ and of course I stumbled into the Denali and I have an express van
We planned this pretty poorly as the past 4 years or so we took on a...
Yeah I see it’s definitely just that 1 piece.. would have to budget for a weld shop to fix it. I have no experience with that lol
Good luck with sale. I’ll keep it in mind as I was just recently shopping for exhaust
Well I’m not happy to report my 2015 with 64k miles needs a hub/bearing as we speak… my 00 that I had for about 5 years needed hubs at about 175k. No service history though so I don’t know if they were original or replaced before
No personal experience but when I was fixing my 6.0 and considered high flow oil pump because I thought it would help with my low oil pressure. I was told from multiple people that the high output pumps are really only good for racing applications not daily driving
Yeah I agree we got off track with the terminology. But monitors that aren’t set would be a fail in the eyes of the inspector if I’m not mistaken
But no need for diagnostics, just need to complete drive cycle
I use a range OBD plug in my Yukon. I’m fairly certain it also caused my systems to fail this past week.
Have to do a drive cycle with the range unplugged then try to get it tested again
How’s all the wiring back there? I have no experience with ppvs. But my work van was previously owned by a utility company and the amount of spaghetti shoved behind the dash was ungodly. They removed all their equipment and just buried what they could
@dani_yellz About 3 months later. How’s the ride?
I have a 15 Yukon. Same color and same suspension. I’m really considering the same belltech kit.
Also @Wolfpack79 did you install yours yet? Any feedback?
Is this what you’re referring to when you say grinding? I noticed the lower ball joints look like they’re flattened over the control arm. Even though rock auto says they have replacement ball joints for aluminum arms.
The bushings for the arm itself actually look healthy in comparison to the...
Whoa whoa whoa. You really lead me on with “slam”. Just to be teased with an itsy bitsy 2” drop?
But I actually have been doing some research myself lately. Drop spindles in the front and coils in the back are like $600 ballpark. You can go cheaper without doing the drop spindles but with...
Read if you dare.
It doesn’t get good until the bottom of page 9. I hope this isn’t your issue but it was for me. Wiped out lifter and camshaft. I tried to diagnose everything before I tore into the engine. I also had a slight miss only at idle and accelerating from idle...
Them finds are really the best. I tried to score on some factory 22s (5 spoke black and polished) for $400 last month. I messaged the guy about 15 mins after he posted but he was little over an hour away from my and it just didn’t line up with the kids bedtime. Can’t win then all…. Started...
My yellow top optima is going on 5 or 6 years of heavy use, between audio, electronics, air compressors, and power inverters. Has been a really good battery BUT I read a lot that they aren’t as good as they used to be. Unsure if I bought mine before or after they started being made poorly.
They look good. Considered painting mine but I don’t want them to look cheesy. Would really like the big brakes or Brembos. But who has that kind if money? Not me lol
