I've been soaking them for the last few days in preparation.
I tried using an offset O2 sensor socket. It fit on the sensor perfectly, but I couldn't get a ratchet or breaker bar on it with enough leverage.
I don't have a long 7/8th wrench in my possession for some weird reason, but I'm...
Received two new GM upstream O2 sensors, and tried to replace them, but for the life of me I could not get access or leverage to either one of them. How do you guys get them out?
Since I already had the rig jacked up I swapped mufflers.... re-installed the MBRP clone muffler hoping that...
Swapped in some 50lb. injectors after work today. Received the updated BBP tune the other day, and was waiting for so e free time.
Buttoned everything up, flashed the updated tune, and it fired right up (with no leaks). Took it for a quick drive to make sure it would run through the gears, and...
My last vehicle had the entire frame POR-15'd and holds up for a few salty winters. The key, and near-impossible task, is eliminating all the existing rust before encapsulating the metal.
The main problem that I ran into was how they covered all the suspension to frame nuts and bolts, which...
I'm just a bit to the east of you, and have had to have bodywork done every year. The rear fenders are well-known GM rust magnets. My hood latch looks like yours, too. I just keep spraying Fluid Film on everything.
I have two fresh Corporate Motors upstream O2 sensors headed my way, and am looking for trusty advice on which tools worked the best to get them out. I took a peek under her skirt and the locations of the bungs aren't mirrored, so one method of removal might not work as well.... ?
Anyways, if...

Wait, those probably won't work with the GMT900, unless the front suspension is compatible.
Here are the GMT900 versions...
If it were me I'd swap the valve seals with the heads on the engine using this technique. Looks easy.
Might as well swap in some LS3 or BTR valve springs for your cam upgrade while you're in there.
The c-clamps for the bushings are cheap enough I'd order a couple, then drill/tap the next side up, so you can still use a bolt-only.
I also had a sway-bar bolt break off in the frame, and it was nightmare trying to drill out the old bolt without damaging the threads. Of coarse the threads...
A couple folks came by yesterday to buy my 5.3 for a project, to go in an early-90s 2wd Tacoma. Luckily, my neighbor was around with his big tractor and a pallet, and just lifted it all into the bed of the dually. Otherwise, we were going to have to get creative with a 2-ton engine hoist and...
