    Trailer brake controller pn?

I’m getting the “service brake controller” code and it is said that the common fix is a new brake controller switch. I can’t find it on the gmc parts website. Anyone know what the correct part number is for a 2015 gmc Yukon Denali Xl?

    Rough country UCA update

The boot had been split on a seem or cut by a knife during packing. Who knows. But it was a clean split and it was there during install. I thought it was a purge vent in an odd spot during assembly. I could not notice any unusual wear on the joint. The arms were assembled with a torque wrench...

    Rear lift springs???

I put them in the comments. I’ll go back and check when I get better reception. I have 1 bar and no WiFi so no YouTube access at the moment

    2019 Suburban mid travel

I like that fox uses a threaded bar. Rather than a nut and bolt like factory or king or ADS. As for the sway bar removal, I read that the MRC equipped vehicles use really soft sway bars and that the traction control and suspension control module used the adjustable shock to help counter sway...

    Ads coilover and lift springs

I just figured with Dana doing that unit bearing floater on the TrX… Maybe… Then again, the Denali Yukon XL axle is the 9.75? What ever it is is bigger than the 5.3 which is already a fairly stout axle. We have a zr2 colorado, Yukon den xl and a trx. All three have surprisingly stout axles...

    Ads coilover and lift springs

Well. It’s a lot of money for very little travel. As long as Gm uses these overly wide frames, they won’t be able to run long control arms. And with that, low wheel travel numbers. Idk why they do it… raptor 13/14, TRX 13/14, Silverado zr2 8/10, colorado zr2 8/10, atx4 8/10 And shocks that blow...

    Ads coilover and lift springs

So it does. I didn’t know that. I wouldn’t spend the money on it for the shocks. That motor though… I love the 6.2 on my Yukon.

    Ads coilover and lift springs

Probably. The new Silverado zr2 seems to have the gmpp zr2 multimatics… Which are eh… better… Less travel than stock which is odd. And NOT what Chad hall runs on his truck The threaded perch ones on the truck are the hall truck, the ones on the table are the gmpp final finals. The at4 if it’s...

    Ads coilover and lift springs

They just suck. Skinny shafts… a weak main oil seal cap. They don’t come with much nitro pressure… they over heat. The valving is ok for crawlers but is terrible for any high speed stuff which the truck is advertised for. I am acquaintances with someone on the design team and that person...

First time Yukon XL owner, looking for lift and/or tire advice

Lifts with crappy shocks ruin rides. But lifts and wider tires, and jumps in OD definitely will effect mileage. But you can always swap gears to get most of that mileage back

Convert away from Z55 and lift. Extra parts suggested?

These are the proper rear shocks for the Yukon. I run the border patrol suburban rear springs and z71 suburban bump stops. Front are the rough country forged arms. Yes I know they have a bad rep but the uca they make are awesome and about $220 for the pair. Hard to tell in these shocks but the...

    Ads coilover and lift springs

Here are a couple better pictures. I ran these spare multimatics temporarily for about 300 or so miles. Those shocks are such trash. I thought “maybe they aren’t as bad as I remember” Nope. Junk. Also it’s hard to see but the ADS reservoirs aren’t clocked/angled a little bit for extra frame...

    Got one! Thanks everyone

    Ads coilover and lift springs

The rears. If I off-roaded a lot of get comp adjusters because it splits the valving and is better for heat and cavitation. If you don’t, just get shocks from a company that will custom valve them and valve them for your use. I’ve found I don’t change my other vehicles with clickers that...

Wtb dod disable module 2015 6.2l

It used to be that way. But the epa has gotten very well funded in the last 2 years and is Going after everyone and anyone. They even just changed their co focus saying that people modifying their cars disproportionately negatively effects people of color the most. Smh… because white folk...

Thanks! So many of those I looked at on Amazon said “not available to be shipped to your location” I hate this state. But ordered thank you

Wtb dod disable module 2015 6.2l

Im tired, the kid is sick. I can’t remember if it’s called the ranger or what. But the little module that plugs into the obd port to turn off the cylinder deactivation. I have a 2015 6.2 GMC Yukon. I don’t have anyone at the moment who I can have it shipped to and then reship it.

    Rough country UCA update

I agree. But these arms were suggested to me by a guy who tunes trophy truck suspension and worked for two of the big name shock manufacturers. I took the leap and they are a nice piece of kit for being an non race set up

    Rough country UCA update

Ads coilovers, border patrol rear springs, z71 rear bumps. And I have multimatic zr2 shocks while ads is building my rear shocks.

    Rough country UCA update

I get it. The RC lifts are bro truck lifts and not what you’d want if you are hammering the desert. But they make a forged UCA for our trucks. The inner joints seem to be a combined derlin and softer rubber. So not too stiff but not so soft it’s terrible. The nice thing for daily drivers is...

Convert away from Z55 and lift. Extra parts suggested?

They are a great “head to the pond down the fire road” shock. But the truck was advertised as a high speed trail truck. The shocks just sucked. I was fortunate enough to meet some of the people on the suspension design team. GM pushed the truck out before the shocks (and a couple other parts)...
