    So those brackets he speaks of in the video for the 5.0 d2s are for outer shields? Really the only thing holding it in place is the bulb opening that’s been widened for the threaded tail? Considering doing it myself….

    The x299 had issues with the VRM overheating and crapping out. That’s why this one isn’t over locked. Microcenter’s warranty is amazing!

    Yes x299 board. I either have 6/12 or 8/16 I don’t remember tbh. I know I have 64g ram and it’s water cooled. White Corsair 540 air case. I do know when I was over locking it and benchmarking I did pretty damn good on the leader board

    That’s called a hidden Mickey! They are all over the parks and resorts. Try finding as many as you can next time you go. The one I remember the most is on the wilderness lodge resort column outside of the lobby in the main entrance has one.

    No like the plate it’s mounted to is much larger. Not from side to side or the tabs but the pad area is much taller

    Those pads you shown are the ones that don’t fit. The hit the bracket. Too tall. No worries man I have the right pads but those weren’t it. Rock auto has my pads listed as for 285/286 caliper casting or 3something. They are the 285/286. Maybe it was normalized I’m 2010 or something but mine...
