I’ll definitely ask when I pick it up. They’re doing the trimming today for the 35’s to clear and then I should be able to pick it up and get measurements and more pics
shop method! I enjoyed the past wrap
Project to grasp an understanding of how it worked. I did my DIY during corona lockdown. Now that I’m working and answering the phone more
I don’t mind paying $100 to have it professionally done. The local vinyl place here is very affordable and does great...
Threw on the honeycomb inserts today to see how it would look. I see so many Denali Grills and I wanted to be different. I really liked the look of the SLT factory grill once it was painted black, and it looks pretty good with the jnserts as well. What do you guys think? Keep or save for rainy day.
I bought the grill off eBay for $270. It came painted black already and was a brand new GM part grill. There’s a vendor on there pumping out a ton of GMC grills.
Yeah I guess they could be like a rocker panel the ones I’ve had In the past usually opened at the same time you opened the door. A very very minuscule lag but not noticeable. I think these newer AMP steps plug into your OB2 port vs wiring up to each door in the past. I wonder if that slows them...
I’m gonna toss the factory ones and install some AMP electric rails. I love how they tuck away underneath the vehicle. Gives an illusion that the vehicle is higher than it is
My ride was so bad with the aged Magnetic factories. The Monroe’s seemed like a gift from heaven

Had the front grill painted black and went with some Spec D smoked LED tails. Chrome delete has also been done with debadging and black vinyl over windows and front fog light bezels.
okay okay fine. I’ve been eyeballing the Readylift system as well and when you said they were in stock I was sold. I called my installer today to confirm and they’ll have it ready for the install in the next week. I called and canceled my Fabtech order. I was going to buy the front strut spacer...
They had over 50 in stock at the wholesaler here in TX. Ordered them today and they’ll be here tomorrow. Knight’s In Lubbock Texas is doing my install and where I ordered them.
If they’re the factory power steps you will have to take off the plastic end caps and trim the board back and pop the cap back on. I had to do that with my last ones. Someone had a good post on here about trimming them back, but it was pretty easy once you know you can pop the end off.
I’m...
Nitto came out with a non 10ply 295/70 34.3” tall and 11.7” wide. It weighs 15lb less than the LT295/70. Perfect for us highway queens that hardly ever tow or go off-road but want the same aggressive look.
The wheel is 18x9.5 -18 offset. Just have to wait to get the lift installed before I can...
Yeah BDS 4-6 months backorder and Fabtech right before Christmas just went 3-4 weeks backorder. That’s what I get for taking my sweet time lol.
I’m gonna go 3” Fabtech with the 1” front lower strut and 2” rear coil spring spacer. Also upgrading to Monroe’s all the way around so I’ll see how...
Now I wait for the Fabtech Kit to ship in a month or so....
gives me time to black out those center caps that were supposed to be black but it’s a black chrome. Gonna drop it off at the body shop for the grill install and debadging and buffing out all the imperfections and add ceramic.
The Fabtech and ready lift are both solid budget lifts without sacrificing quality like you might on a Rough Country or similar. I only noticed very very minor rubbing on my Fabtech kit. I don’t remember it ever being an issue but remember seeing some scuff marks on my control arm if I can...
I’ll definitely keep you posted on how it goes. Love the look of both your old wheel/tire combo and the new one. My last few vehicles have had 20”+ wheels and non-trimming size tires with big lifts so this time I figured let’s change my look and go BIG tires and trim with a smaller lift.
On my...
