    Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Installation

Update: so the SX100 legs didn't work since I bought a rack that was officially (per Rhino Rack) too narrow to work with my application. I ended up mostly going with the parts I originally listed in the OP, and it worked great! Only deviation was that the strut channel nuts didn't work (it...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

What unit did you go with for the touch screen? I've been toying with the idea of upgrading, but I love the integration with the DVD player and steering wheel controls and I'm not sure all/any aftermarket decks retain those functionalities.

    Adjustable pedals stopped working

what’s the travel distance supposed to be on the pedals? My factory gear had a crack or two in it, but wasn’t broken. After putting the brass gear in it, I didn’t notice a difference in distance traveled before it hit the stops. I currently have maybe 2” total travel from front to back.

    Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Installation

After watching a ton of videos and thinking through this, I'm just going to order the SX100 leg set since it should work with my rack, and I learned it will also work with my wife's 4Runner so it'll be nice to be able to move the rack between vehicles, if needed.

    High side AC port issue

In March I replaced the service port with this part. It works great and you'll have a schrader valve rather than a check ball. You can hold a wrench on the flat parts on the line below the service port for removal and installation. Just make sure you lubricate the new o-ring with some PAG oil...

    Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Installation

Hi all, I recently picked up a like new condition Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform. I plan on installing it using a combination of the items below. Has anyone installed on of these, and if so, can you give me any suggestions or tips? I'm not sure the $315 set of SX100 legs will work with my...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Nice job! Were they squeaking constantly, or only under certain conditions? I find my brakes squeak/squeal occasionally when they get warm, wondering if it's a retaining clip, or something else.

AC Works great sometimes and then it doesn't

FWIW, I have factory electric fans and I notice AC temp increases when idling compared to moving/driving as well, regardless of whether recirc is on or not. Not sure if my condenser is just old and could use a replacement, or if it's just inherent to the nature of how automotive AC works. I...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not today, but last Saturday I took my family on a road trip from DFW to Pagosa Springs, CO for a week. We arrived at home around midnight last night. We covered 1,963 miles in all. The truck did amazing, including towing a 6 seater side by side from Pagosa Springs to Tucker Ponds Campground...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thank you for the feedback on the LEDs. I suppose it's possible I did not fully seat the bulbs, but from memory (this was about a year and a half ago) I believe I did... Either way, it's working fine now, and I usually keep the cluster dimmer about 50% to minimize the heat and hopefully...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I did this a while back and the new bulbs partially melted the backs of the buttons. I had to disassemble the unit again and break off the melted parts so the switches wouldn’t stick to the bulbs. Wish I’d done a led swap that looked like natural incandescent light, maybe I’ll do that next...

One of my Nivomats started leaking around 2017, so I replaced the rear shocks and springs with the Bilstein parts you referenced above. I've been totally happy.

    Adjustable pedals stopped working

Thank you for the link. I noticed my pedals will only adjust slightly but haven't used that feature since I first set them to my leg length over 17 years go. I went to Gruven parts and found the brass replacement gear. I balked at the price tag ($69.99) and then was offended by the added...
