    Whipple Supercharged Performance

Is that CARB certified with an EO? If so, I would assume that's why the tune is locked. Beauty addition!

    05 Tahoe line Lock

As Americans, we have guns too. My niece and nephew from the Nederlands just visited, and at the top of thier to-do list, above Venice Beach and Hollywood, was a trip to the gun range and the dragraces... Its ok that you don't understand, that's why we have Freedom of Choice.

    4l60e question...is it junk?

I have an '02 Z71 4x4. I lost my trannie at 167k. Mine suffered a horrid death as the rear planetary case cracked. If you are planning to keep yours, I recommend you check out the Sonnax parts catalog and their build sheets for varying levels of performance and strengthening. Agree with...

03 Tahoe Z71 noises in tranny

I have an '02 Tahoe Z71, and at 165k miles had the same issue, which screamed/screetched when put in reverse. My issue was a cracked rear planet carrier. I upgraded to the A/C Delco 5 planet carrier (amongst other things) on the rebuild .

My question would be the intended level of the build? With S/C, streetable SUV, maybe 550hp/tq max? I'm a firm believer in Sonnax and recommend a little research there for build info...

    Let's talk engines and trans

Hi everyone, Did I miss something here? While I fully agree that the LQ4 and LQ9 (Gen 3) would be the easiest and most cost-effective to install, I'm getting hung up on the reference to the 4L80(e). If I'm not mistaken, significant fabrication on new trans mounts and driveshaft(s)...
