    Dealer removal of ordered/sold unit from their website?

    I started this topic and spoke to my dealer yesterday and they "in fact" can and do remove the vehicle from theirs and GM's website. Mine was removed because they know it is already sold and don't want salespeople to be bothered answering calls "is it still available?"

    GM automatically posts an "In Transit" vehicle on a dealers website after it is produced and "In Transit" to that dealer. Is it common practice for a dealer to remove the vehicle from their website if it is a sold/customer ordered vehicle soon after it gets posted by GM?

    That is exactly right, called my dealer and he looked at the VINVIEW and told me exactly where my Yukon was and it was currently "moving" in the rail car in Texas (even told me the city it was moving thru)!

    UPDATE-- Ordered my 2022 Yukon SLT on Dec 28 got order number 2 days later, dealer got allocation on Jan 24th (for Max Tow), GM accepted on Jan 26th with a TPW of 2/14, Yukon was produced yesterday 2/24, got VIN number today 2/25 and currently shows "Available to ship". :)

    Orders are being delayed at the plant for some unknown reason, my Yukon SLT with Luxury package and Max tow package had a TPW of 2/14 which of course has already passed and no production yet but still showing an event code of 3400

My dealer tells me no problem he will just get the sensors from parts and include them with the deal as the Trailering package has the app already.
