    Hmmmm good to know. I know all the lift companies say that it requires 17 or bigger cause of the brakes. But that makes it much easier for me!

    Thanks I am excited for this too just piecing it together slowly. It needs tires soon so I am trying to get the wheels on soon. Also trying to figure out how I am going to fit the 16s since it came with 17 stock. either going to grind the caliper or run a spacer I just don't want it to rub.

    Well puled the trigger and ordered a lift for the tahoe today. Went with the Pro Comp 6" kit. Decided Pro Comp over Superlift because the Pro Comp is a full knuckle drop kit. So the plan is to now get lift knuckles, bds torsion bar relocaters, cv stubs, and 4wd hubs. Also get everything powder...

    Honestly not a bad job to drop the tank. Jack it up some to be able to work under it loosen some of the hose clamps and then the tank straps and it'll slide down.
