    Shudder at light throttle

Can a Tech 2 read torque converter slippage? I’m convinced you guys are seeing that. I had the same once on my old 93 hoe.

Air Conditioner quits blowing from vents

Does this happen with the fan on high or when using on a lower blower setting. Next time it happens turn only the AC button off, not the main power (to keep the blower going) and see if it starts blowing after a few minutes. If you smell moist air and it blows hard again then your evaporator...

    2010 Tahoe AC HELP!!

K5L is the RPO code. You will know when your fans go to high, they roar loudly and you can feel it walking by the front of the truck. Your high side is too low. You were saying it was 90 degrees outside? At 90 ambient your high side should be around 170-220. Sounds like either compressor is...

I didnt read all 10 pages but it sounds like torque converter shudder or slippage. Try barely riding the brake pedal when it happes and see if it goes away.

    2010 Tahoe AC HELP!!

Just for my future reference I just hooked the gauges to my 13 LTZ with front and rear on high blower recirculating. Ambient temps 92 degrees, ac running for 10 min. Low side 36.6, high side 209.3 with cooling fans on low. Reved engine for a few seconds to kick the high fans on and back to...

    2010 Tahoe AC HELP!!

2.5 lbs of 134a is no matter how much oil it holds. Make sure the air is on recirc and on high speed blower with temp set to 60 or lowest setting front and rear, both driver and passenger. How are you charging the system? Big 25 lb bottle or little cans? Plain 134a or some mix crap...

    Mishimoto 1999-2014 GMT800/900 Performance Radiator R&D

In my personal opinion the price point is a little high. I think at $375 you would sell 10X what you will now (at $500+) and would have problems keeping them in stock. After all, $150 to produce (maybe if that) would still be a great profit margin at volume.

Yes 3.42 gears and I think Quik Trip 91 octane. I have an Airaid jr with Blackbear tune deleted cylinder deactivation. My mileage is spot on dic vs hand Calc

    08 Denali engine overheating

General rule of thumb assuming the thermostat is good and fluid level is full...... Poor cooling at low speed or low load is usually air flow problem. Poor cooling at highway speeds and under heavier load is usually water flow problem like clogged radiator.

    LED headlights

So the question is......do they fit 2007-2014 without having to modify ANYTHING?

    LED headlights

They might be bright, but do they fit without modification on these trucks? Most LED are too long out the back and hit the surrounding metal behind the headlight assembly. I installed LED low beam bulbs in my truck but had to grind away some metal. BTW, LED is way better than stock.

Broken Drivers front armrest pull handle

Yes, join the "you have a broken pull handle crowd and you are screwed" crowd. Sooner or later everyone will end up with a broken handle on these cheap junk plastic overpriced door panels. Almost every single Tahoe I had looked at including mine had at least one soft cruchy door pull handle. I...

    Resonator delete

Did a trip to work taking it real easy on the pedal. 60 in a 55 and 67-70 in a 65 mph on the freeways trying not to get run over on my 30 mile drive. Ended up with 22.0 mpg till I exited the freeway, had to sit at 2 lights and 4 miles on surface streets ended up with total 21.4 mpg. Man it was...

It seems to be very accurate compared to hand calculated full fill ups. Usually average ~14.5 on DIC and actual is 14.1 My 7.3 diesel is a famous lie-o-meter, totally useless.

    Resonator delete

Mine is a 6 speed and 3.42 gears. You really have to watch the instant mileage and adjust your foot to get good mileage. If I drive normal speed to work, 80-85 mph and get heavy on the pedal I only get 16 or so. If I wake up early enough for work next week ie. 3:10 instead of 3:30 am I will try...

    Resonator delete

I never got a chance to test mine with AFM, soon as I got this 13 I got a airaid jr and a blackbear tune. Last week my 30 mile drive to work at 75 mph was 19.5 mpg.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

At least this time I remembered to take a pre reading so there is a delta to compare..... LOL

Heated / Cooled Seat Wiring / Airbag

My 13 LTZ gets plenty hot. I cant compare heat up time to anything but after a good 5 minutes they are hot. The cooling portion takes a little longer and isnt as much of a temp delta, but it really works. I wish it would function with the remote start though, or memory function.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just installed charcoal cabin air filter kit. Only lost about 7-8% airflow as measured with anemometer.

    Z71 or LTZ

My 13 LTZ rear shocks work fine, but I only have 75K on the vehicle. For me being an "ex" tech is no big deal if I need to fix it, but I see how others who have to take it to a shop could feel the pain of spending all that labor money. My brother has a 12 LT and now wants all the stuff that the...

Console Cup Holder Lid Bumpers / Stops

2013 LTZ and I may have sucked up one of the little push in bumpers for the console cup-holder lid. Its where the lid rests when closed. Im not sure if it was ever there or it got sucked out at the car wash when I was vacuuming. Anyhow, dealer only sells the entire cupholder and surround...
