    2010 Yukon ac problems

You only have a cabin air filter if someone bought and installed it, but you say it does blow good at first so I doubt it would be that..... If you live in a humid area and are either low on refrigerant or blower is set low, you may be freezing up the evap. Wait till it happens again and JUST...

    Header question

I have been eyeballing those Speed Engineering headers myself for the last few days. Im just done dealing with fitment issues like on my 99 with OBX headers. Still trying to decide....

My brother is currently going through the same thing, his 12 LT didnt have them, he added the parts but cant get the passenger side to fold.

    Look at this crap!

At least its an easy diagnosis and fix...new tensioner (or just pulley if being cheap) and belt and done.

Why do the later 900's feel like slouches compared to the early ones?

After a tune and relearning shift patterns my 13 LTZ is a beast. It’s relatively quick and 60-80 is impressive......and I drive a vette.

    Vacation 18!

Heading to San Diego in the morning for a few days at the beach. I’m sure the Hoe will run like beast there at sea level and 75 degrees instead of 1400ft and 110F. I know my vette loves the cool weather.

    Look to join the family

It’s 113 here and so far my cooled seats do NOT come on during remote start.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

116 on the way home today. Don’t forget to subtract another 1-1.5% hp for every 10 degrees, and the AC compressor..... Good thing I drove the vette to work today. :driver:

Let’s call my 2013 Chevy Tahoe the BEAST!!!

Pretty vague. Define loud. When you hit the go pedal....intake tube not stock? Speed noise like tires? Loud like no muffler? Etc etc.

    Stalling hesitation issues

Also check for vacuum leaks, brake booster hose, lines, intake from MAF to TB, etc.

    Transmission level check

Another thing to note, as the dipstick brushes the wall of the tube, you may get a higher reading on one side of the dipstick than the other. Wipe it clean, insert into tube fully and pull within 1 second. Read BOTH sides of the dipstick quickly and use the lowest shown fluid level as your mark.

A/C Problems in 2011 GMC Yukon XL

Find someone with a Tech 2 (or a dealer) and have them command the fans on high to see if they work. May be relays.....possible high pressure switch not tripping and commanding fans on. All assuming correct charge and compressor is good.

    Air in brake line

May need to activate the ABS driving on a slick or dirt road then slamming the brakes. Do this a few times and re-bleed. Or get a tech 2 and do the auto bleed.

    07 tahoe coolant temp issue

    Oooops, forgot to respond to this thread. EFI Live does not show that much data or options compared to my 99, but here is what it was stock. Deg % Fan power 192 40 196 42 199 43 203 45 207 48 210 48 214 49 217 49 221 55 225 60% 228 80 232 90 235 95 239...

Overheating towing with Denali 6.2L - Losing my F'n mind!!

Yeah I hate that. Mine reads 210 all the time when actual temp on tech 2 is 195. I would love to be able to “calibrate” the gauge to show actual temp.

I would crank and make sure both valves open and close.

Overheating towing with Denali 6.2L - Losing my F'n mind!!

Not towing and that high of trans temps I wonder if the converter is not locking up.

Broken Intake Valve from Valve Float 6.2L L92?

Well 90 psi, that sucks. You can put the piston at top dead center and hook an air hose to the compression tester......minus the gauge part, and force air into the cylinder. Listen for the air flow out the exhaust valve/tailpipe or intake manifold. If its head gasket or piston, check crank...

    Alternator charging issues

It’s actually mind boggling how complicated and how much computer code and charging strategy algorithms that are used. In a nutshell the computer (BCM) is controlling the alternator to provide enough power to run the truck and any power accessories while simultaneously maintaining the...

    Vibration during deceleration

All I could add about ujoint replacement is to mark the driveshaft parts so you put it back together the same way. Sometimes the driveshaft being “out of phase” can cause balance/vibration issues. Watch some YouTube vids on ujoint R&R procedures might help.

Desperate, need help-Key Fobs suddenly quit working

20 days old......any update on the fix? I believe after 2010 you need a tech 2 to program remotes.

New Tahoe Owner with a few questions/concerns

#2. Door panel pull handles are complete crap on these vehicles. It’s all flimsy plastic underneath and totally weak. If you don’t come up with some kind of fix yourself you can only buy a new complete door panel to make it right at the cost of an arm or leg. I decided to use metal and epoxy...
