Absolutely Rust Free Truck you have from Texas. I have gone down to Texas 3 times in the 90's bringing back Rust free cars. My Yukon is from Richardson Texas two owner Truck with 163k on it when I bought it four years ago. I have had the rear main leak since I have owned it only now have I...
Both my 2000 Tahoe and 2000 Yukon have the same G80 with the factory Drain plug on the bottom of the Differential. I have changed the rear diff fluid 3 times in a little over 3 years in the Yukon using Valvoline 80W-90 non-synthetic gear oil in the white plastic bottle. Reason for the fluid...
Replaced my crankshaft position sensor when I replaced my starter. Replaced it with a oem AC Delco sensor. Delco P/N; 213-354 GM P/N; 12560228. After replacing it Engine would not start tried several times. Removed my brand new starter and pulled the brand new Delco Sensor out of the engine...
I have a 2000 steel cable foot pedal Throttle Body Yukon. Very reliable except for a idle air control module. Thanks for taking the time. Great Information.
I had my Oil Pan off last year replacing the Gasket and installing a new Starter. That would of been the time to replace that Position sensor but I never knew where it was located so instead of going to the auto store and getting one I just left the original one in and put everything back together.
After removing and installing my starter 3 times dealing with a bad Crank Position Sensor I'm figuring out the best way to install the starter without damaging wires or breaking plastic connectors.
Yes Starter turns the engine over like normal. The motor would always start right up so when it kept turning over I knew the sensor was the problem being it was the only part I replaced.
One fuse block is under the hood and the other is on the drivers side of the dash across from the drivers door. I had a blower motor do the same thing.
Yes Crank Position Sensor. The ACDelco sensors from most GM Dealers are around 100.00. I got the ACDelco one that is Made in China. Some are Made In Mexico as well. Going to take it out and put the Original one back in.
Just installed a brand new AC Delco Crank Sensor P/N 12560228 now engine will not start. Original Sensor was fine I only replaced it because I had the starter removed to install a new Positive battery cable and wanted to replace the sensor as long as the starter was removed. Can a brand new...
How did you remove the side moldings ? The ones on my Yukon will not just pull off they break into small pieces and the cement/glue from 20 years of being on the truck takes hours to remove.
I'm using Valvoline Dex/Merc in the Blue Gallon. It's multi-vehicle for GM Dexron III. It's cheaper and recommended to be used in vehicles older than 2006. Mine is a 2000 4L60E and it works just fine. This is the first time I have ever used Multi-Vehicle Fluid.
Central Minnesota. This was early spring the cost went up in the summer. The price of gas was much higher years prior to this. I took this picture figuring it would never get this cheap again.
