    Replacing Exhaust Manifold Bolts

I just got a package of FEL-PRO bolts from O'Reilly, who knew they made bolts. Never thought about ARP. If my Stock ones lasted 20 years I think these should last as long as I will ever own the truck.

They sure look nice. You might want to consider replacing your Original heater hoses if you get the chance.

You have a newer stronger better transmission. Both of mine are 20 years old I'm lucky they even shift at all on a real cold day.

    Replacing Exhaust Manifold Bolts

Never thought to Shock it but makes sense to me now. It just snapped off with a real loud bang I knew it was broken when I heard that.

Does the winter/cold weather delay shift points?

On a normal day with no warm up they never do this so it appears to be a extreme cold weather issue.

    Replacing Exhaust Manifold Bolts

All my manifold bolts were rusty but not broken. Decided to replace them with FEL-PRO replacement exhaust manifold bolts before they start to fail. First one I tried to remove with a 10mm socket was really tight and broke off with the majority of the bolt still in the head. I warmed the engine...

This may be a temp sensor to help warm up the trans.

    Oil pressure/rebuild advice

If you got the bolt tight it should be good. My old ring looked ok with no cracks but when the tube fell out onto the garage floor I knew it was loose and probably my oil pressure issue and it was.

    Oil pressure/rebuild advice

If your talking about the Oil Pump O-Ring that you had to removed the Oil Pan to replace and spent hours putting it back together how could it not be installed correctly.

Don't think it is related to the Module removal. I had mine removed for over a year and everything worked as it should.
