Finding a good spot to run wires without damaging other wires is not as easy as you would think. I looked around on mine for over an hour and am not in any way happy with the few hard to get to options. Figured it would be easy to find a extra plug not being used I could not find any. A hack job...
Just the Low Line Pressure. It shows the Low line pressure when the compressor cycles on and the pressure when it cycles off. You can see the difference as you charge up the system. I have a bad compressor and I will be buying a set of gauges and a new compressor.
That's what I am thinking. This Yukon is a life long Texas truck think of the years of using the A/C. If it's the original compressor that's a pretty good run. Truck has 171K on it. Worked great last year. The one time we have once in ten year heat my A/C stops working.
Even with over 100 snowplow/salt trucks in the metro area there are hundreds of spin-outs and crashes every time we get even a light snow and or ice event.
Yep Fuel Pump Relay. Not a pressure issue it's a rare flow issue coming out of the tank that even on ramps would not stop fuel from running not dripping out of the fuel tank line going into the filter.
Just the filter. Tony I sold my Tahoe. I now just have the Texas clean RWD Yukon. No salt on this Yukon probably drove it 2 times all winter when salt and snow got on it. Washed the crap off in my driveway with warm water from the wash tub faucet hooked up to a garden hose in the house. Yukon is...
Not really sure got side tracked with this fuel filter thread. You cannot believe the problems I had last week with getting my fuel to stop draining so I could replace my fuel filter. Tried everything I could think of decided that running the tank really low had to stop the fuel we will see...
Yes mine had sediment in it as well. Have a fuel filter story coming very soon waiting till I run my tank down to almost empty which should be tomorrow.
Should be one of the first things to get replaced when you buy these trucks. I waited a year and a half because the truck ran perfect and I do not like working around dripping fuel.
The Frame mounted Filters come in two types. Type #1 is pictured courtesy of Fless. Type #2 from me. Both filters have a flexible front fuel line which you remove first. The plastic filter holder does not need to be removed and may not even need to be loosened mine however was somewhat tight.
The Can of A/C PRO Gauge goes down to 25-30 while the compressor is engaged. 60 when not engaged. These are Low line pressure readings. I did the recharge yesterday and the outside temp was about 90 with low humidity. We are experiencing July heat in early June that will last another week. The...
02 Texas Yukon. Warm air coming out of vents Compressor running five seconds then off over and over. New Pressure switch installed still cycling on and off. One 20oz.can of A/C Pro Still warm air. Condenser is clean. Compressor bad? Worked great last summer. Tried holding rpm's at 1500-2000...
