    I had a 95 Tahoe 5.7 with over 200k that I drove for 5 years with reverse slipping. It would idle in reverse fine so parking lots were ok but had to be careful where I parked.

    You can see that used ones are cheaper but they don't last. Look at the time your spending working on this truck. You must be able to replace these with your eyes closed.

    Plug to nothing I never noticed

    It was loose and I wanted to clean-up under the hood. I didn't like that 20 year old wire hanging loose when I opened the hood.
