    So I finally found an OE y-pipe from an 07/08 Cadillac. I just want to quadruple check that this will actually fit my 07 Tahoe? I think the only difference I see besides the diameter of the tubing is the driver's side kicks out, must be to clear the trans. Any and all info is much appreciated...

    True true and they come in in droves haha. It would be nice. LS1Tech is pretty legit, been over there for about 13 years and had decent luck. It's just a bit big, I like TYF it's more personal and I like the humor that goes on here :)

    I ended up finding a 6.2 Escalade Y-pipe (it's pricey @ $1199 but it's the only one I could find) last night and wow what a difference, it is dramatically larger than the 5.3. I really don't think I'll be buying it though haha. Like you that is my future plans for mine as well. In the meantime...

    Another 09 + supposedly unless I'm loosing my mind, looks like the same exact one as above but a different angle. No idea what it is off of though. He sent another one but it was a clamp together 07/08 model. Looks like I'll be pulling mine off and going from there.

    This is what I have found so far. 07 is on the left and 09 on the right. 5 things I notice 1. O2 locations 2. extra hangers on the 09 in the center section 3. 09 has a 90 degree bend into the center section and the 07 has a 45 degree. Must be for clearance. 4. not sure what flanges are used...

    Short answer, yes. My CEL (P0430) has been coming and clearing itself and I have cleared it a few times for over a year now, it's for my bank 2 cat. I'm just going to make a new Y pipe with some Maggy cats and finish it with a new cat back as well.
