All front doors on the GMT900 platform (2007*-2014), except for Cadillac will interchange. Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Avalanche, Silverado and Sierra are interchangeable.
*2007.5 and newer (non "Classic") for the trucks.
Aftermarket HU 100%.
IIRC, there are two styles of Bose HU/amp systems. With one style, the HU sends a full-range analog signal to the Bose amp. You can intercept the channels of the full-range signal before it goes into the amp to connect that to your aftermarket amp. My original plan...
I never made it out of the SCC area. Just ran back and forth between the Airbnb and their house. I hope to be back during my daughter's spring break and we'll be out and about more. I'll certainly keep that on my list. It looks legit! Thanks for the lead.
Yup- Facebook Marketplace. It's all I use FB for. No friends, no posts, no nothing. I drive all over Louisiana and into Mississippi and Texas for work, so I have a huge area to search for things I want or even sell.
Coming all the way from MI, I had to mention it. No worries, though...
Going by your posts in this thread, it sounds like it might've been owned by an older person or couple and not driven a whole lot. The issues you've had are all very common items for these things, especially one that doesn't get used often. The alternator crapping out is about the only oddity...
Or something wrong with the engine. Very intermittently, after long drives like on road trips, I would get DTC P1153: Slow switching for Bank 2, Sensor 1. I swapped the left and right sensors around and, eventually, the same code popped up.
I don't remember what I've done since notating all...
I do! Kinda. Grandparents live in Sun City Center- a huge retirement community with its own ZIP code. It has multiple subdivisions within it. Also has a golf course or two. I'm at an Airbnb about 5 miles from them and 3 of those miles is on the main drag going through Sun City Center. I...
I read recently that an ACDelco store might not be what the name implies to us. One example was there's an "ACDelco" store and an "AC Delco" store. One's legit, one's counterfeit.
...I like that that rhymes.
Two things- slow the pump down or adjust the alignment. Maybe even just have the alignment checked. If you're not the original owner, maybe a previous owner had the alignment adjusted and they didn't give it enough positive caster? Some places do the ol' "toe and go" and many others focus...
Where in FL are y'all going? I drove from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Wimauma, FL (about 30 mins south of Tampa) last Friday. Did this in my old 2008 with 227K miles. The same one I often post here of the beatings and abuse I deal it. What I did to get her ready for the 800-mile journey was...
Much bigger difference than I was hoping for. But, it still might not be irrelevant info. Like, if you had tested it before with the phone and it still showed the same 3-4 dB change. Thanks for the comparison! I'll be sure to do a before and after when I do mine. I'm just gonna use the...
I don't have a bi-directional scanner, but the scanner I have is decently powerful. It'll read wheel speed sensor, steering position, yaw, etc. signals. So, you don't necessarily have to have a bi-directional, which are a lot more expensive.
I agree with @Joseph Garcia that one of the wheel...
Maybe or maybe not what? That you'd need to perform the CASE relearn? I'd say its a possibility, but a strong chance that it won't be needed. I'd replace one- either the CKP or CMP and drive it. If no issues, replace the other and drive again. If no issues, you should be good.
I have...
Being an LT, I wasn't sure. I'd check the multifunction switch. I don't think the washer pump has a relay so it's not simply a stuck relay, unfortunately.
No bling? Then, for performance, you'd be all set with a substantial seal between the filter box and fender and maybe a good filter. But, there's really nothing to be improved beyond that. The foam seal is the factory setup's only real fault. It's thin and deteriorates with age then falls in...
