4GTFUL lived on several of my vehicles. People would ask why I got that and I got to tell them I don't remember.
Take a look at Iottie for one with a very sticky soft suction cup base. It has stuck on my dash for months now and I put it right onto the textured part of the dash. Note that I bought a separate sticky gel disk to mount my Garmin onto and it works but the Garmin's suction cup doesn't stay stuck...
As other folks have said you need some stated goals. For me I enjoy driving long distances and cruising the beautiful mountain roads around me. For that I don't want a lifted truck on bigger heavier tires. I'm happy with stock sizes. I want better fuel economy, a quieter cruise, and better...
Here's an odd one to add. An hour ago when I started my Tahoe up to go get my mail I got a very loud noticeable chirping that didn't go away. I wasn't going far so I didn't just stop and check it out. Now I popped the hood and narrowed it down to the idler pulley next to the alternator or the...
If that's close I'd say go look at it. It looks really good. Find out if there are any dealer service records anywhere. Make sure the air conditioned seats work too. :-)
Just as Chevy announces its RST Tahoe package with available 420hp and 10 speed automatic. :-O

Do you have a gps plugged in that stays on? How about a USB charger adapter? Those draw a surprising amount of power even with nothing plugged in. Of course interior lights is bad but that's obvious. Radar detectors draw power. Dunno, just tossing out ideas.
FWIW I put a nice Kenwood head unit into my old Buick Roadmaster. Instead of tying in to the reverse system I just controlled my reverse camera with a switch. I could use the camera when I was towing to check on things.
I think now that I'm getting used to having a backup camera I would have...

But no, these back windows didn't go all the way down either. The factory LT1 kept it fun though.
The frustration stems in part from the fact that my brother has a 2015 Chevrolet SS and his windows go all the way down. He just bought his wife a brand new 2016 Impala and those also go all the way down. How can they do this for a lowly car but not for these giant SUVs? Okay, maybe the SS can't...
Sigh. I hadn't looked at the doors with that in mind, just thought about my brother coming down and asked.
Thanks. Anybody have the numbers in the next Powerball drawing they care to share with me?
My brother and his wife are into photography with nice but large cameras. Shooting from the rear seats of my '09 Tahoe is tough because the windows are in the way. It's a shame because here in East Tennessee there is much that can be seen from the roads. Are there any Tahoes of any year or any...
The wheel sensors can get clogged with metal dust especially if you've ever run a set of brake pads all the way down to metal. They're magnetic and will hold the dust forever. You can blow them out with compressed air if you can get to them.
Hm. I'll be listening in on this thread. A couple of weeks ago mine was giving a jarring ride. It was fine the next day. My wife and I took a drive through Gatlinburg yesterday and the ride was mostly great but I would like to soften the ride on some of the roads that got beaten up in the fires...
Is 4WD even an option with the Denali? I see the first vehicle at least has AWD and I did a quick search on the differences and advantages. I like to use low range 4WD in rough conditions because I feel like it gives me much better control. That's not an option with AWD is it?
Anyway, personal...
Just spent a half hour researching a similar issue. Look for information on recalibrating actuators. Basically you need to disconnect the battery for a while. Folks mention 1/2 hour for that. Reconnect the battery and turn the key all the way on but don't start. Don't touch any controls and wait...
In looking at that plastic it seems like an X-acto saw blade would work well. Also maybe an oscillating saw with the right blade and a slow speed to keep from melting the plastic.
I'll need to crawl into my Tahoe and take a look at that first hand. However I'm a windows open kind of guy so...
