I think the 15’ front end is 5”+ longer than the 08’ so you might be able to just make basic mounting hardware/framing, then you’d just need wiring harnesses just off the top of my head.
If it was me it’d definitely be possible but you need a lot of stuff like knowledge of electrical systems and what wires do what so you can make a adapter for the lights. And general body shop experience/kit car building experience.
They have completely different radiator supports and dimensions/shape you’d need to do a lot of trimming, measuring, leveling, fitting, custom mounting supports you could probably remove the serpentine belt/radiator label plastic emissions label thingy and use those holes as a mounting point...
No 9th/10th or really any gen suburban has a bulletproof automatic transmission they’re usually under-built for these heavy trucks if you wanted a unkillable trans you need to go back to 6/7th gen transition and get a manual but most of those trucks are rusted out junkers and bad on gas/no...
6l80e : electrical demons all day sometimes mechanical better on gas 4l60e ; mechanical demons worse on gas
You just have to pick your poison the 6L80’s have slightly better mileage but the 4L60’s just have mechanical issues as far as I’ve heard besides the programming 4L’s just need a good...
It sounds like a low R134A issue First I would get a DIY ac recharge kit and I would turn on the switch and pump refrigerant if it’s below 30 psi aka low pressure it will not send voltage unless you jump the relay I would Check your pigtail mine was so chewed up on the high pressure switch not...
On the note of “perfect working order” MY ASS HAS AC NOW I’m having issues with the low side hose wanting to come loose when I shut off the truck and the pressure equalizes so I lost a bit of refrigerant today but otherwise it just doesn’t blow out of the front vents because of a broken switch...
I’m on 18x10’s I think so if you’re really getting 11 freeway normally somethings up unless you’re majorly lifted on mud tires. Or gassing like crazy passing.
Yukon xL?!?!!?!? I get 13.5 whomping onto the freeway CC otherwise est I think on 01’s we’re epa rated at 15mpg combined 18 freeway I thought my truck was bad loaded up with stuff jeez.
1st off make/model year , trim , what engine unless you have a duramax there’s no factory dual battery system as even a option
2nd of all I would start at the junction box unless you know that both batteries are balance charged and the junction is good unless this is some jank setup there’ll be...
I believe these things have a crossover between the 2 systems (1 system but easier to explain as 2) one is like ac in the older trucks one lets you control the ac to a precise temp so even if you turn the less precise dials/fans off if climate control is on it’ll try and regulate the...
If the clutch isn’t receiving power at the plug then you need pressure switches one is located on the receiver drier (low pressure) and one is located on the compressor i bypassed my high pressure switch but don’t do that. Pressure switches mean a pulled compressor.
If it’s receiving power to the coil there could be a bad coil/clutch which for most intensive purposes means a *Atleast* $800 mechanics bill for replacing a compressor because clutches are almost as expensive especially after labor it’s only a few hour job at that point but if the coil is...
I just found a cheat code to not spending as much on gas, my coworkers need rides everyday to work we worked out a deal $50 each every week $100 a week would cover my auto insurance plus some only one is kinda out of the way but I’d still profit because it’s towards my house. I just have to exit...
It’s probably not any worse than running 110 when you’re not modified and lowering pre-detonation. The newer corvettes are far more stubborn with fueling than a C5 87=< is most likely fine under normal street driving circumstances. If you’re really worried about it add octane booster but at that...
If you do one do both and if you’re already in for a alignment get the control arm ball joints done or else you’ll have weird wear marks when tires wear down. If you can price it out just swap the control arms if they have play don’t forget endlinks im currently ignoring my personal suspension...
